Indiana Jones and the Great Circle perfectly captures the charm of the 1980s Indy films with diverse levels, fun combat, and challenging puzzles. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 avoids the pitfalls of Modern Warfare 3, offering a compelling spy campaign with smooth undercover missions and satisfying gunplay. Despite solid multiplayer and Zombies modes, it still feels - much like its predecessors - like a rehash of 2019’s Modern Warfare reboot.

Nintendo takes a bold step by making Zelda the central playable character, introducing fresh mechanics that distinguish the game from previous entries in the series. It's a mixed experience, with moments of enhanced fun thanks to new gameplay features, but also frustrating issues in regards to goalkeeper and tackle behavior. While Rush is a welcome addition, other areas like slow menus, moderate updates to game modes, and weaker tactical options compared to its predecessor fall short. The game shines in terms of visuals and technical performance, running smoothly on PS5, delivering impressive graphics.

My expectations were high: An open world in the well known Galaxy far, far away, in which I could immerse myself in and where exciting stories are hidden around every corner. Star Wars Outlaws is simply not that. Still, what is left is a fairly good game featuring a dense atmosphere, authentic characters and fun gameplay.

Even after eleven years this hunt for ghosts is still a lot of fun, if a bit stretched unnecessarily. Thanks to the timeless graphic style - now in HD - and the newly designed controls, this represents the best version of the game. Still, the price point is too high for a remaster.

Shadow of the Erdtree adds more Elden Ring to Elden Ring. And even though the empty and sometimes confusing world disoriented me and the wonky camera added an unnecessary layer of difficulty to almost every boss fight, I was completely captivated by the game again. Those 20 hours of playtime are definitely worth the 40 Euros price-tag.
