Shinobido for PS Vita is like a mixture of Hitman and Metal Gear Solid for Asia fans, who really love dialogue, character development and a thin but broad storyline about a war in a foreign country. But they will have to live with some AI bugs, repetetive level layout, poor controls and a lack of use of PS Vita features. Acquire could have done better.- GamingXP

Knights Contract is a Japanese interpretation of Goethe's Faust in hack'n'slay style. Apart from the funny, twisted story, the game lacks in pretty much every aspect: the boss fights are unfair and the AI is plainly stupid, to name but a few examples. With the likes of Tales of Vesperia JRPGs got a pretty high standard already. Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland looks really adorable at first sight and fans of the series will probably love it, but if you take a closer look there is a lot to dislike about this game. The story is much too shallow for an RPG and the environment looks awfully stinted. The characters though really look detailed and nice and the Japanese synchronization is well done. Though the gameplay is pretty diversified, the missions and errands are not, which makes the game boring after a few hours, if you are not a fan of the series. Having loved the game back in the 90s, I was disappointed with the remake. The graphics could have been a lot better, the multiplayer was great back then but with small, monotonous maps an a dearth of game modes is pretty weak by today's standards Surprisingly, the solo campaign is pretty solid, though the story is shallow.
