At the very least Wild Arms: Alter Code F is as good as its source – though seeing that the original Wild Arms was a decent, but not great PS1 RPG, that perhaps isn't saying much.

It’s got a fantastic betting concept, rich customization and a couple of RPG elements throw into the fighting gameplay. On the other hand, the actual gameplay is slow and sometimes boring and the graphics don’t do much to inspire any life into the title.

If you could grade a game on features alone, Juiced would be higher scored, because the career mode really is well done and offers a lot of depth. However, the slow progression and mostly old, tired racing action hampers the unique features of said career.

MLB 2K10 is an improvement in many ways perhaps, most importantly, it won't be an embarrassing butt of jokes on the Internet.

It's still fun in spurts, but on the whole it doesn't keep interest for very long because most of us have been there before – some of us 6 times now.

A title that doesn't try to do anything new and different in the action/platformer realm, but it does manage to capture some of the spirit and whimsy of the movie it is based on.

Blur has excellent production value and packaging, but fails to engross with a lack of original and compelling gameplay.

NBA 07 misses very important baskets in its one-on-one match up against "NBA 2K7," which results in shallow depth due to the lack of a franchise mode and a limited presentation because of the muted commentary.

Nothing but a crummy RPG. There's no other way to look at it.

White Knight Chronicles is a decent attempt at making a hybrid RPG, creating something for offline and online players. However, the emphasis on both has made the game somewhat half-baked.

It does feel like a trimmed down, dumbed down port of the console versions however, and that really hurts it and also makes the PSP seem inferior when it should be showing how much power is under the hood.

Like the movies, the game is more style than substance, something that needs to be corrected for any future sequels.

The title has a lot of potential, with a staff behind it that believe in the game, but currently paying the premium subscription fee would not be recommended.

Although Live is stunning but stripped exactly like the rest of EA Sports’ lineup, the fact that it has competition is its biggest setback if you’re looking for a long-term basketball game.

The really sad thing about Heroes is that during the seemingly few times when everything works right, this is actually a pretty darn fun game.

Whether it’s the similar gameplay (My Life as a King excluded) or the recurring four races or even just the general look of it, I usually know what I’m getting with a Crystal Chronicles game and usually I like it. The DS version of Echoes of Time manages to uphold that tradition quite nicely. The Wii version, sadly, does not.

    NBA
If you need a hoops sim and can't stand NBA Street, or want something to play online and show off how cool Wi-Fi can be, this is your only choice, and that might be good enough as long as the problems with the game can be forgiven with time.

APB is clever but inconsistent, though Realtime Worlds has proven to be a developer to watch. This game shows that they understood the lay of the land back in 2005, when APB was initially conceived.

The game is repetitive, easy, short, and offers nothing new to the genre besides the introduction of the fear meter. But even that is misused as you can only put fear into enemies by doing what the games tells you to do, not what you want to do.
