With deadly obstacles at every step, this is one game that never lets up. But fans of this type of punishment will enjoy the clever level designs and rage-inducing traps.- Gaming Nexus

Atelier Rorona Plus may not reinvent the role-playing genre, but it does add new life to the poorly-received 2010 game. By fixing many of the original game's problems (including combat, crafting, exploring, visuals, etc.), the developers have turned an otherwise middling RPG into one of this year's most surprising releases.- Gaming Nexus

EA Sports UFC is absolutely amazing to see in motion. It is a lot of fun to play, too, assuming you have some friends along for the ride.- Gaming Nexus

Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack is a fun and fresh little diversion of a game. At $8.99, it’s a bit pricey for a game that can be finished in an afternoon, but it’s fun nonetheless.- Gaming Nexus

Fans of competitive puzzle games will eat this up. But Magical Beat is marred by questionable gameplay mechanics, a barebones presentation, no online modes and an annoying soundtrack. If you can get past some of these problems, you'll find an interesting puzzler that doesn't quite meet its full potential.- Gaming Nexus

With more than 150 stages and plenty of scientists to collect, PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate is a fun action game for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. I wish the shooting was a little deeper and I could have done without the Hungry Suit, but this is an easy game to recommend for both casual and hardcore fans of the genre.- Gaming Nexus

The changes and additions to Pro Cycling Manager 2014 are really quite impressive. The extreme level of detail has finally been matched with top quality graphics, improved controls, and a tutorial system that gets you up and going, and most importantly, competitive in races, far more quickly.- Gaming Nexus

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle is as baffling a fighting game as you will ever play. With a large cast of eccentric characters and some of the most stylish moves you'll ever see, Namco Bandai have finally released a good anime game. It's not without a few problems, but JoJo has enough charm to warrant taking the risk.- Gaming Nexus

Whether you want to just jump right into a game or season, or want to create a league from scratch, Out of the Park ’15 has the ability to do it and once again raises the bar for baseball management simulators. While the 3D effects to need some work, there’s no doubt that this is an awesome simulator for those who want to customize any and every aspect of the game.- Gaming Nexus

While obviously being influenced by games like Limbo, Monochroma has a flavor and story all its own. Monochroma is a good game at heart, but it's hidden under technical errors and gameplay flaws that gave me no end of frustration.- Gaming Nexus

Bound By Flame was almost made to be divisive. If you love gameplay above all else, then this will be an enjoyable experience for you. But if you're more of a story-driven gamer, then it would be wise to steer clear of this particular title.- Gaming Nexus

While it is amazing that all of this content has been squeezed down to a portable version on the Vita, it has lost a lot of its luster in the transition. There is still a ton of fun to be had here, but this is far from what has come to be expected from a Borderlands experience and nothing near the quality on either the consoles or the PC.- Gaming Nexus

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 adds too many half-baked ideas to the original game's elegant framework. The result is a game that is half good, half frustrating, and all tedious. Just about every good idea in this game is held back by something that isn't quite finished or just plain doesn't work.- Gaming Nexus

Child of Light is an artist's RPG through and through. Combat is more thoughtful than intimidating, the story is at once archetypal and clever, and the game's visual and auditory flare is truly something to behold.- Gaming Nexus

Vertical Drop Heroes is a really solid game. While there are a couple of things I could (and did) nitpick, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. If you're looking for a fun and slightly different type of RPG that you can easily play in spurts, definitely give this one a go.- Gaming Nexus

"In Sheep's Clothing" is easily my favorite installment in the series so far. it's melancholic and retrospective without sacrificing plot development. There's a nervous energy to it that keeps you on your toes and leads to a cliffhanger that will have you clamoring for the next episode, even though you don't want it to end.- Gaming Nexus
