Easily the best racer of this year, Sega GT 2002 has also become a serious competitor to reigning king "Gran Turismo 3."

The animation is equally as weak, and this is especially noticeable when you see Blade's rigid front and back flips. The XBox does a noticeably better job than the PS2 though.

The GameCube and Xbox versions outshine the PlayStation version by a wide margin. Textures, framerate and clarity are all done far better on the Xbox and Cube, while the PS2 suffers greatly from poor framerates, bland textures, and bad draw in.

The game's tedious hit detection scheme is frustrating and at most times it feels like the game is cheating you.

It's a decent first person shooter with many multiplayer options, lots of gore and several flaws. None of those flaws make the game unplayable, they just keep it from standing head and shoulders above other, similar games.

Mediocre.

A good sequel... But if you didn’t like the first one, you won’t find much new to like here.

The downside to the simplistic controls is that the overall gameplay is not too deep.

It's not exactly a killer online app, but it's free, it's easily to play, it's fun, and it runs pretty much flawlessly.

The animations are disappointing. Shooting someone should offer some satisfaction, but in SOCOM the dead man just slumps over.

It succeeds in presenting a believable story with likeable characters in a world that is far more detailed than the original. If I had to pick an RPG of the Year, (or hell Game of the Year) right now, Icewind Dale II would be it.

The game isn’t about guns, action, blood and mayhem. It’s a game dealing with stealth in its purest form.

It's the most fun I've had on my GameCube so far, with the notable exception of "Animal Crossing."

The game is cute, very nice on the eyes, and just all around enjoyable.

At first glance, it appears to be a shallow, silly game with lots of action and eye candy. But it's also a relatively complex sports game requiring just the right mix of skill and reflexes.

This might not be the year that Sega's series tops Madden in the sales charts, but we might look back at 2003 as the year Sega's NFL 2k3 became the better game.

An absolute must-buy to any fan of turn-based strategy or real-time strategy. The mechanics are sound, the atmosphere is spot-on, and the scale of the battles is truly epic.

It plays and looks like a game that could have been worth your time a few years ago, when most games had mediocre graphics and at least a few gameplay flaws.

If you can’t get your hands on Capcom vs. SNK for the DC, this is your game. The gameplay is wholly intact. It’s just not as pretty as its original counterpart.

The game has remained basically the same with some minor additions. Is it worth the purchase? Only if you are content to live in the 32-bit era for another whole year.

You'll see a lot of poor passes (regardless of your quarterback choice), poor tackling (even for a computer-controlled player), hot and cold A.I. and many, many wide open receivers dropping balls. This is probably the most frustrating aspect of NCAA 2k3.

NFL Blitz 20-03 is a near carbon copy of 20-02, no two ways about it. If you like Blitz gameplay, you'll find it here...but the lack of innovation is startling.

Only pick this up if your are crazy for the O2 series of video games or are new to the genre.

Even with the addition of online play this year, GameDay seems to act like the team without a payroll or ambition to achieve the glory they had in the 90's.
