If you want a game that is fast, gritty, and fun as hell to play with commentary by Madden himself (actually it's the hilarious Frank Caliendo doing his Madden impersonation) then Blitz may be that "shot in the arm" you are looking for.- Gaming Age

Basically, the newest Tak entry is a substandard platforming/brawler hybrid that just doesn't manage to do anything for me.- Gaming Age

The challenge isn't too taxing, with a few frustrating areas due to bad level design more than anything, and while the combo system is out from previous games, you can still string together hits using the basic attacks and the different elements if you want, but it's hardly needed for most cases.- Gaming Age

The concept is fun, there are some nice features and touches included in the game, and the online play is actually very enjoyable. It's worth checking out the demo at least to see if the game clicks.- Gaming Age

If you're absolutely, positively dying to play some type of action oriented title, and you're not feeling particularly picky about the story aspect or how engaged you'll get with the characters used, then Fracture will probably satisfy that itch for a short while.- Gaming Age

All together, I can't really suggest picking up the newest Crash title, unless the idea of backtracking really doesn't bother you in the slightest. There's a decent game here, but it's far too annoying to play thru and see everything it has to offer.- Gaming Age

2K seems very comfortable with their winning formula - they've got a game that plays and looks great that improves a little each year. They've succeeded in adding wrinkles that do what should be the #1 goal of anyone who makes sports games: They stay out of the way.- Gaming Age

For me, I chose NBA Live 09. Not only has EA brought legs back to this franchise since struggling its first two years out on next generation platforms, but they have delivered a very strong outing last year and now this year as well.- Gaming Age

Overall War World is a reasonably fun, good looking XBLA title. The biggest problem is mech balance, which hopefully can be fixed in a later patch.- Gaming Age

So once again, this fledgling series fails to impress, and while I get the idea behind the game and the mechanics that it's going for, it just feels like a lot of the elements are unnecessary and a bit too archaic for my tastes.- Gaming Age

It is as true as possible to the franchise's humble beginnings, which is a good and bad thing. In my opinion, it's a good thing because I love a game that can put me through the wringer and back-but still be fair about it.- Gaming Age

It was the game's storyline and characters that captured me versus the suspense this time around, but that didn't make the game any less enjoyable for me.- Gaming Age

You'll have a hard time finding an arcade or combat racer that is anywhere close to being able to catch up to WipEout HD and when you factor in the price WipEout HD is in a league of its own.- Gaming Age

It's definitely worth picking up for not only shooter fans, but those that enjoy a little bit of strategy with their action. You won't get away with run and gun tactics on this title, and it's easily one of the better representations of squad based combat I've seen in a game since the original Brothers In Arms.- Gaming Age

It could have used a little more variety out of the box, in terms of gameplay types and topics, but what is included will undoubtedly last until the next full-featured installment.- Gaming Age

So while Buzz! Master Quiz isn't quite my preferred version of the series; it's still a really decent outing, and first attempt, on the PSP. There are a decent variety of quiz types available, along with a great selection of actual questions, and a solid amount of content to keep a player busy for a while.- Gaming Age

So get your group of friends together, throw a party, or just get wasted as singing is something everyone loves to do, it just takes a little motivation to get some of your friends to sing along, but you'll get them there one way or another.- Gaming Age

The mission selection is definitely a bit different from previous games, and having the various encounters with potentially dangerous prey is a great idea, but the actual execution feels pretty lackluster here.- Gaming Age
