The few detriments Eden has are hidden well and can be argued as an attempt to challenge the player, or simply as poor design choices. That doesn't change the fact that as a whole, it's a game that makes you feel thankful for playing.- Gaming Age

It’s hard to complain about the rest of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. On a lot of levels it’s a back-to-basics approach for the series that works, with an engaging, entertaining campaign, great visuals and voice acting, some classic Modern Warfare callbacks, and a strong multiplayer mode too. If you’ve been away from the series for a long time, this would make a pretty good year to jump back in.- Gaming Age

A couple of annoying moments here and there can’t detract from an overall fun experience, so as long as you go into Bug Academy with that mindset, you should be able to enjoy it.- Gaming Age

Even if you're not a big Dynasty Warriors fan, there's a whole lot to enjoy here, and while the combat can grow a bit stale, the way the touch screen stuff is implemented really speeds up the battles compared to the home console titles.- Gaming Age

DICE did a great job of refining the Battlefield formula into a cohesive package that should tide fans over until Bad Company 2, or may create a whole new fanbase in itself under 1943's small-but-strong design philosophy.- Gaming Age

For fans of this racing genre, you will kick yourself if you don’t treat yourself to the best the sport has to offer. It’s deep, it’s fast, it’s authentic, it’s online, it’s fair, and it’s fun!- Gaming Age

More car customization available before hitting the aforementioned gold medals would be nice, but for quick, dirty, racing action, there might not be a better choice on current consoles without firing up a retro classic.- Gaming Age

Alone in the Vita library, it's a casual game that has a bit of depth to it, and it's a Japanese game that doesn't have all kinds of weird sexual issues (though, obviously, it's not without them entirely, as evidenced by the fact you can shoot upskirt camera shots during concerts). It's a light, breezy game that's made for a light, breezy time of year, and it's well worth an investment.- Gaming Age

For newcomers, Tales of Symphonia Remastered is a great pickup but for veterans looking for more, you won’t find anything new here sadly. If you are collector of the Tales games it will be worth adding to the collection.- Gaming Age

You don't need to rush out and download it this instant, though. No, that's an honor you should give to Runner 2 — which, again, is a must-play for anyone with any of the many, many systems on which it appeared. The BIT.TRIP is more an after-dinner mint: it's certainly enjoyable, but not quite as good as the main course.- Gaming Age

As we learned from another relic/artefact of the same era, great soundtracks can help overcome a lot of flaws. But at the same time, this is just a mindlessly fun game where you can run around chomping on brains, and that sort of thing never goes out of style.- Gaming Age

Kalimba is hard, and it never tries to hide that fact. But I'm thinking that if even someone like me can enjoy the game, then it'll be even more enjoyable if you're made of even sterner (and, admittedly, more patient) stuff.- Gaming Age

ent's Curse: Episode 1 continues on in this tradition, I say bring on the anachronisms. If they're all as well made as The Serpent's Curse is, then that's a throwback I'm happy to see.- Gaming Age

Again, I don’t think Need for Speed Heat does much to re-invent the wheel when it comes to open-world racing games, but it does help reset the franchise in a way that felt necessary at this point. It’s an enjoyable experience throughout, the story is entertaining if maybe a little too serious, and the overall progression path is well realized. If you’re hungry to get behind the wheel of a virtual car this season, Need for Speed Heat is likely going to be the game for you.- Gaming Age

SingStar for the PS3 shows the promise of what this series will be like and what imaginative ideas Sony has in store for it. Of course I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't mention they've finally added the feature that I've always knocked the series for lacking: the ability to turn down or off the main vocals.- Gaming Age

Aside from my mixed feelings on A.I., which was never one of the series' strengths to begin with, and the length, the game has a lot of great action, well done atmosphere, and multiplayer to keep you coming back for more.- Gaming Age

Sure, this is the first time they’ve graced a Nintendo platform, but that only means that if you’re in that elusive “Nintendo-only gamer who likes shooters” demographic, you owe it to yourself to pick up the Borderlands Legendary Collection. For everyone else, though, it’s harder to see the value proposition. Pick it up if you want these games on the go, but be aware that you’ve had up to ten years to play some of these games on other platforms, and this doesn’t bring anything new to the table.- Gaming Age

It may borrow some obvious elements from much better-known (and, frankly, probably better-made) games, but if you give it a chance, Beasts of Maravilla Island should be able to win you over with its charms.- Gaming Age

Will there be more, perhaps post-endgame DLC down the road? It seems highly unlikely at this point, but knowing that a new Zelda is likely pretty far on the horizon, maybe Nintendo can surprise us in 2018. As it is though, Breath of the Wild definitely benefits from this DLC pack, and while it might not be a big enough draw for players that have essentially wrapped up the main story, it certainly feels like a nice boon to those of us that have yet to 100% the game.- Gaming Age

Which, come to think of it, means that Table Top Racing is among the very best racing games on the Vita. True, that's not a huge accomplishment, since the full list of Vita racing games can easily be counted on two hands. Nonetheless, this is a strong enough game that it's easy to imagine Table Top Racing standing out even if that list was several times as long.- Gaming Age

Anyone telling you that this game isn't different or changed from the first game is flat out lying to you. L4D2 isn't going to change your mind if you thought it was just okay or didn't care for it. On the other hand if you and a handful of friends enjoyed joining up to defeat the land of the dead and surviving the thought of being a smorgasbord for the flesh eaters, then you will have nothing short of a blast with L4D2.- Gaming Age
