It looks great, too, with much credit due to level design; garbage everywhere, fog littering the dead city, lighting effects bringing out the horror movie in a game, and the amount of zombies onscreen at times.

If it were substantially longer, I suspect that The Flower Collectors might have felt a little pat or contrived. At this length, however, it works just fine, and it makes The Flower Collectors one of the better mystery games I’ve played in awhile.

I’d go as far as saying that Bailey pretty much single-handedly makes Jurassic World Aftermath Collection a worthwhile experience. Without her, this is a decent (if a little slow-moving) stealth game. With her literally guiding you through the ruins of the infamous theme park, the whole thing becomes worth your time and money.

The asking price, like most Square Enix titles on mobile platforms, is a little steep for what you get. But overall this is a pretty solid port, and the novelty of playing FF VII on a phone or tablet is enough to make me suggest picking this up.

In some ways, this version of TMNT 2 is better than its console brother. The game play is straightforward, fun, and action packed, all without the trials of camera issues and other problems that the console version endures.

To use the word amazing would be an understatement when describing how engaging, fun, and addicting the online game is, but it is a shame the same can't be said about the single player game, which leaves Battlefield 3 feeling like a mixed bag that focused heavily on one aspect more than the other.

Fun graphics, cool twists to easy-to-use gameplay, and enough variety to stand on its own two feet, make Rocket Riot a decent alternative for fans of arcade shooters.

The gameplay, graphics, flexibility of options and entertainment factor make this the best volleyball game to date, hands down.

The career mode is pretty frustrating, which is unfortunate because it's the main draw of a college game for me. The whole interface is too damn confusing, and there's not a word about it in the printed manual.

Frame rate aside, the Xbox does look the best visually as everything is smooth and the textures are bump mapped ever so slightly.

It doesn’t exactly make for the most compelling or most memorable game. Truth be told, I have a hard time imagining this game is going to stick with me for all that long, in contrast with other games that are nowhere near as coherent. But there’s still something to be said for being as straightforward and as pleasantly decent as A Winter’s Daydream is. It’s unlike most other visual novels I’ve ever played, and, for that reason alone, it’s not the worst game in the world to check out if you’re a fan of visual novels.

A quality puzzler for the DS. Furthermore, it's one of the few games out that makes legitimate use of the touch screen.

It’s the kind of sequel that gamers look for, just as if you were to see a great horror film and then anxiously await the next installment to get all the answers.

It could have been a little bit longer, and it could have been executed a lot more thoroughly. Even so, Genji is a great ride.

The game has crossover appeal between PA fans and RPG fans, but the most accurate litmus test will be to see if you like their humor in the first place.

Star Trek: Tactical Assault does a fantastic job with giving the player a feel of the Star Trek universe and what the commander of a starship had to go through in the shows. I would probably recommend picking out the PSP version if you had a choice.

It’s one of those games where the journey matters at least as much as, if not more than, the destination — and, thankfully, it makes that journey as smooth and seamless and pleasant as possible.

Now where NBA Live 2004 excels is in the gameplay department. NBA Live successfully gives you almost total control of the game of basketball, crossovers, pivot moves, shot adjustments, and fade-aways, are all aspects of the game that EA has given you control of.

It's nice to see such a strong effort come forth from EA and I only hope they keep this kind of intensity in the future with their other franchises as well. NCAA Football 08 is a must buy for any fan of the grid iron.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD is a fun ride and will take you some time to play through. It also looks good, especially for being a port of a Nintendo 3DS handheld title and will provide fans with more of the Belmont history than you could find on Ancestry.com.

Overall, Resident Evil Village: Winters’ Expansion is an enjoyable excuse revisit to one of my Games of the Year entries from 2021 and I recommend checking it out. It’s not perfect but it does have me begging for more of this. I’m going to pitch it now in case Capcom sees this review: Resident Evil Revelations 3: RE Gaiden Remake – we need more Barry and Leon, introduce some of the elements from Shadows of Rose, and we are in business!

When things start getting really explosive — which is to say, almost immediately — what you see is a game that’s a whole lot of fun. Destropolis may only do one thing, but it does that one thing very, very well.

Sure Dead Space 3 is familiar, but fans wouldn't have it any other way. If you have been in love since the first entry, then you already probably own this game and don’t need my opinion. On the other hand, if you have played the previous two and weren't sold, there’s nothing that is going to change your mind here to make you a convert, unless of course there’s a marker nearby…

Battlefront II is a good sequel, but it's got too much in common with the first game to make the upgrade a no-brainer.
