While UT3 isn't going to reinvent the FPS wheel, it does supply what has been greatly missing in FPS as of late, which is just a straight forward, fun as hell, experience that is endless as long as you have friends to play with.

If you allow yourself to get absorbed into what Dyad is offering though, I think you'll admit that there's a lot more to Dyad than what a simple text description can relate. And for me that's the sign of something truly great, regardless of the type of media it's presented in.

2K seems very comfortable with their winning formula - they've got a game that plays and looks great that improves a little each year. They've succeeded in adding wrinkles that do what should be the #1 goal of anyone who makes sports games: They stay out of the way.

It’s far from perfect, and its flaws are reading apparent, but if you come away from this game feeling truly dissatisfied instead of deeply impressed by the work of SeithCG and eager to see what he does next, you’re kind of missing its point.

Dreamscaper is absolutely gorgeous. As befits a game that takes place in dreams — where you go to battle the monsters of sadness and loss — the whole thing has a dreamlike quality, with the edges of each room barely sketched in. In fact, even when the heroine is awake, the game still retains a half-awake, otherworldly feeling thanks to its graphics. Yet, despite all these good qualities, I still can’t get into Dreamscaper. But, because of all these good qualities, I totally get why others might be able to. It’s not my cup of tea, but if you like a well-made roguelike, it’s very likely that it will be yours.

If you have any love for pinball, you should definitely pick up The Pinball Arcade. Its presentation and re-creation of actual pinball tables is second to none, and deserves to be seen and experienced by as many people as possible.

Even with only seven levels, which are huge, it will take even the best shooter fan quite a few tries to complete this one to the end.

The huge cast of characters and unlockable extras helps push it over the top.

With all the new game play additions, better menus and customization options, a revamped Road to Glory mode, Custom Conferences, a new tackling engine, and presentation that represents all the major Game Day Traditions, ESPN overlays, and very cool replays that not only happen during big plays, but even are recapped at quarter's end and game's end, you really couldn't ask for anything more.

While the single player experience is excellent, the Multiplayer modes seem pretty tacked on.

The gameplay and story aren’t completely original and short. The game does look great and the soundtrack is extraordinary.

Even more impressive is the fact that the game is set in real mileage (or kilometers depending on your region) which means you may be in for a very long ride if your race spans over 100 miles. With over 1000 miles of terrain, you will be driving well over 100 hours if you want to do or see everything in the game.

Presumably, this is something that was already known by everyone that's already played The Walking Dead on PS3/Xbox/PC/iOS, but if you haven't yet had a chance to see it for yourself, then you owe it to yourself to rectify your oversight and get it for your PS Vita immediately.

If you've been looking for a competent replacement for the Mario Kart series, and really enjoy some online competitive play, then Blur is definitely going to be up your alley.

It is nice to see EA not sit back and take it easy with their illustrious FIFA franchise, and honestly they will need to keep it up with Konami’s PES series set to return with a vengeance.

The controls are solid, the storyline is at least entertaining, the cop chases are fun, the graphics and sound are both well done and polished, and the time it’ll take you to finish it makes it worth a purchase.

The animations are disappointing. Shooting someone should offer some satisfaction, but in SOCOM the dead man just slumps over.

Hardcore platform gaming. If you don’t mind platforming where the odds aren’t in your favor, this is your game.

Its especially exceptional considering it's the first release from the developers at Vigil, and shows a certain level of polish that a lot of new IP's released last year was definitely lacking.

Raidou Remasted is a genuine treat and well worth it. Not only is it a great title with a story you can get invested in, but last I checked it’s smoothly playable on Steam Deck and it released for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, so you can choose your poison for portability to play the game. It really did release on everything, and that’s just to the benefit of the player. ATLUS and SEGA really nailed it with this one, and I’m even more excited for whether they’ll remaster the sequel or not in addition.

The first episode shows a whole lot of promise, and I’m very curious to see how this adventure ends up.

If you're a fan of the original title, than I can definitely suggest picking this one up, but even if you missed out on the Viva Pinata hype for the original release, this version is easy to pick up and learn, and should appeal to just about everyone.

Really, with as solid as the fighting engine is, I'd say it's an absolute steal at $15. I'm looking forward to seeing it on the fighting game tournament circuit this year.

Sometimes more of the same is better than nothing, but PJS2's core gameplay will need some serious experimentation if the series is to continue any further; because as awesome as manipulating the geology and chemistry of your environments was in the beginning, it doesn't take long for it to run its course without feeling a little thin in the end...For now though, it's just right.

So while yes, these are three games that Mario fans around the globe will likely love, it’s also a little hard to wholeheartedly suggest rushing out to pick up this collection simply because it feels like a barebones kind of thing, especially for a franchise and anniversary milestone that deserves better. The ports are well done, the emulation feels spot on to me, and it’s fun to go back and revisit all three of these games. But I don’t think it’s unfair to expect a little more from Nintendo as the owner and caretaker of these historic titles, and would hope that we see big improvements on that front for future collections.

Overall I feel like Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is a fairly accessible experience for new players, or those that haven't picked up a Tekken game in years.

All in all, I think Galak-Z was definitely worth the wait. It’s one of the most unique titles I’ve played on my PS4 this year, and certainly one of the most challenging.

I absolutely loved my time with Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, and I look forward to jumping into more co-op and PVP after the game launches. The main campaign is a real rollercoaster ride of excitement and mayhem, and the sheer volume of enemies that the game tosses at you on a frequent basis make each encounter feel harrowing and epic. It’s a wild ride that I think any action fan will enjoy, whether you’re in love with the world of Warhamer 40,000 or just looking for a fun time that involves blowing lots of stuff up. Definitely check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
