The camera angles in the PSP version of the game are as frustrating as ever. Basically traditional or coach camera modes are the only ones remotely useful.- Gaming Age

If you enjoy The Simpsons and you enjoy driving like a maniac, you'll enjoy this game, for a while. But the gimmick gets way too old way too fast to be satisfying to even the most rabid fans of the show.- Gaming Age

Just when I thought I might be able to get back into the FPS mix, I feel like I’m drowning in these poor games instead. Your best bet is to just stay away and wait for some originality to poke it’s head out.- Gaming Age

Although Tarzan looks like a free-roaming 3D platformer in pictures, you actually navigate extremely narrow paths. Sometimes only one exact line will allow you to complete the level.- Gaming Age

Probably the clearest way I can describe this game is by saying that I had a really tough time finding the motivation to play through it even though its core story is incredibly short (there are sub-missions and stuff, and the multiplayer, but the single player main story is only about 5 hours).- Gaming Age

A competent shooter, but just barely. The ideas behind the cover system and the bullet curve are certainly solid, but the rest of the game just doesn't hold up that well.- Gaming Age

As I said up top, I know what I like in my monster training games (which is to say, Pokémon and imitators like Nexomon and Coromon), and what I don’t. And, unfortunately, Digimon Next: World Order – with its endless focus on grinding and training and, uh, pooping – is definitely in the category of what I don’t like.- Gaming Age

All in all, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven is a unique fighter, but many players might have a hard time getting into everything to enjoy it. It does have a few minor problems that may alienate some players, while serious fans of the series will jump right in and love every second.- Gaming Age

It's a tough little game, but it has a lot of content to check out, and a pretty appealing art style, along with a catchy soundtrack.- Gaming Age

A mixed bag—platforming and presentation are exceptional, making for one of the better games I’ve played on the DS. On the other hand, the combat and length detract so much from the overall package.- Gaming Age

PaRappa the Rapper: Remastered deserves a bit more than what Sony gives it here, and that’s certainly disappointing for this fan of the original. Still, it’s a technically solid remaster of a really fun game, so I’d still suggest picking it up. Especially if you haven’t played the game in a while, or ever for that matter. It’s one of the more unique and charming releases from the PS1 era, and PaRappa the Rapper deserves all the attention it can get.- Gaming Age

The game has remained basically the same with some minor additions. Is it worth the purchase? Only if you are content to live in the 32-bit era for another whole year.- Gaming Age

Even with this new attacking system, the game still falls into the monotonous, repetitive game play that has affected the genre for years. Nightcaster isn’t what you’d call clumsy in terms of game play, just not as precise as you would like.- Gaming Age

I don't think target audiences get any more specific than they do with Demetrios – The Big Cynical Adventure. As far as I can tell, it's for fans of the Broken Sword series who wish that those games took themselves way less seriously and included way, way more scatalogical humour.- Gaming Age

If you long for the days of Maniac Mansion or Day of the Tentactive…well, this is a pretty poor approximation. But it’s still an approximation nonetheless, and if you miss the days of ‘90s adventure games, you can rest assured that Detective Gallo shares your pain, and wants to try and help you relive them.- Gaming Age

If you have a youngster looking to get into the groove of DDR, then this could be a great place to start. The theme is right up there alley, the levels get progressively harder so they will be able to challenge veteran players in the future, but with only 40 songs, you may find yourself getting another version of the game after a couple months.- Gaming Age

The writing isn't half-bad, and Cassie makes for an appropriately spunky heroine. However, the crucial ingredient would be for the game to be on VR, where it could come closer to its ideal of sensory deprivation to offer a genuinely frightening — rather than frustrating — experience. However, Deep End Games have already nixed that idea, which means that what you're left with is a whole bunch of frustratingly squandered promise.- Gaming Age

In short, the expansion feels sort of like the modern Castlevania standby in "Richter Mode" wherein a jaunt with a new character involves a far simplified gameplay mechanic. However, the relevant thing to remember is that Demons of the Badlands not only simplifies the gameplay--but also the area it's in.- Gaming Age

Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.- Gaming Age

Though the game offers four playable characters, there was only one instance I felt advantaged by my chosen character's skill. For the most part, each character feels just like the next, the biggest difference being the shift in dialog during cutscenes.- Gaming Age

There are three stages to playing Georifters. First, your eyeballs get assaulted. Then, briefly, you get used to the hideousness, and you can focus on playing the game. This, unfortunately, is the shortest stage, and quickly gives way to boredom, as you realize there’s not much here worth doing for any length of time. Given all the excellent puzzle-platformers on the Switch, that means you can safely avoid this one.- Gaming Age
