Does that mean you should give Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 a chance if you've previously written off musou games? Probably not; it's different, but it's not that different. It's also, however, a very, very good musou game that was clearly made to be played on the Vita, which means that if you tried one of the previous handheld entries and weren't impressed, that's not a reason to write this one off, too.- Gaming Age

Though Tenchu does have its fair share of throat slitting and swords-through-the-head, the basic gameplay is more reminiscent of "Metal Gear Solid" than Gaiden's slice and dice routine. Despite the flaws, Tenchu is still a rewarding experience.- Gaming Age

If you loved the games back in the ‘90s, you may enjoy reliving your youth, but for everyone else, there are plenty of other more modern games worth your time and attention.- Gaming Age

The game doesn’t even come close to the better adventure games on PC, but it is still an enjoyable title to play through if you’ve exhausted all your other DS games.- Gaming Age

Is Enthusia the Gran Turismo killer? Nah, but it is a nice standby for those who want something more after playing it, or are just sick of the GT series and want something fresh.- Gaming Age

So, in the end, I had a good time with Sorcery and was glad that The Workshop was able to put together a quality PlayStation Move fantasy action title. It has some really nice ideas, along with solid Move controls, and is worth looking into if you're in the market for some PS Move magic.- Gaming Age

Even something that's a little comparable, like God Hand, has a more interesting combat system involved than Kenka's basic attacks and options, regardless of whether the game was actually lacking any polish or not. Kenka nails the theme, setting, and humor that I expected, but actually fails at being particularly fun to play.- Gaming Age

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my time with qomp2. I found it to be boring, frustrating and not very fun overall. Granted there is NOTHING wrong with the game itself, as everything is presented as intended by the developers. It’s just one of those games that will not appeal to everyone. Some people out there may like it while others, like me, will find it repetitive and boring. If you are looking for a puzzle game, based off of a classic game that is challenging to the mind while offering a feeling of slight accomplishment, then you should give this one a try. Everyone else, I suggest you skip this one. qomp2 is not broken or bad, but definitely not for everyone.- Gaming Age

To anyone who’s ever thought they could put together a masterful dungeon, or those who want a simple action-RPG where they’re in control of the level, Dungeon Maker mixes both together quite well.- Gaming Age

This is the Rock Band game that all the family can easily enjoy. If you’ve been struggling finding a music game that you won’t have to monitor the song list, Lego Rock Band will put your mind at ease.- Gaming Age

The only reason you should buy this game is if you’re eager to go online and blast away at zombies with others. There are worse reasons to buy a game, though, so if that’s what you’re after — and that’s literally all you’re after — it may just be worth your time.- Gaming Age

It’s fun to revisit events from the past four films, and there’s a hefty amount of comedic moments that take the edge off the more horrific and visceral moments found in the films.- Gaming Age

Overall, Haunted House is fun for a while, but it begins to lose it’s charm the further you get into it. The game is okay for a few runs, but you may begin to lose interest quickly and want to stop. It’s a decent remake for sure, though very average overall and just not as compelling or satisfying as other roguelites or even other Atari remakes available. Maybe try a demo before purchasing to see if this will appeal to you.- Gaming Age

I’m not going to lie. I was terrible at Gravitar: Recharged, and I continued to be terrible at it no matter what I did. But if you’re the sort of person who craves a genuinely punishing experience and doesn’t mind putting in the hours, you absolutely need to give Gravitar: Recharged a try.- Gaming Age

It's fun enough for most adults to enjoy (admittedly in limited doses) and simple enough for most kids to grasp. The opportunity for interaction among family or friends makes Shrek 2 more than the sum of its parts.- Gaming Age

If that’s what you’re after – more Castlevania, without actually playing Castlevania again – then that’s fine, and Elderand will provide you with a perfectly competent experience. But given that other games have taken that route and shown far more personality, it’s hard to see why you’d want to choose this game instead of any of those other ones.- Gaming Age

Despite the show only being on for 3 seasons, the universe is already pretty large with plenty of fan theories, it’s just a tiny (Rick) bit disappointing how short and limited this title is. As a die hard I would kill, Krombopulos Michael style, for a Rick and Morty RPG in line with the South Park series. For now, if you own a PSVR and consider yourself a part of the council of Ricks, this is a must buy.- Gaming Age

No Straight Roads is like an indie band that if given a chance, you’ll end up being a fan for life. It’s not perfect, but there’s enough there to ensure you have a good time. It certainly stands out in a crowd of titles where colors are muted and personalities are lacking. In a battle of Rock vs EDM, I’ll side with rock every time!- Gaming Age

Overall, Warriors Orochi 3 is one of the best examples of a modern Dynasty Warriors title, and something that all fans should definitely check out. It's not going to do much to sway naysayers and those that don't care for the repetitive button mashing of the series, as it doesn't do much to change up the core gameplay, but if you're at all vested in the series, you should think about picking this up.- Gaming Age

Your enjoyment of The Mooseman will come down to how much you enjoy edutainment. It’s definitely not for everyone, and if you don’t feel like reading every new page, then what you’re left with is a short, uneventful adventure game. If, however, that doesn’t phase you, then there might just be enough here to make The Mooseman worth your while.- Gaming Age

Presumably the game goes easy on players so they can focus on the unfolding story (pun not originally intended). However, if you hate the story as much as I did, that’s not a good thing. Again, I’ll freely admit that if you don’t spend too much time thinking about any of this, A Fold Apart is a mildly charming puzzle-platformer. But beneath that brightly-coloured surface, there’s a pretty noxious message.- Gaming Age

The other standout here is demake of 2007’s Pac-Man Championship Edition. It’s probably a little unfair to compare it to any of the other ten games on this compilation, seeing as its design has the benefit of 30+ years of hindsight, but it’s still an incredible take on an incredible game that feels alive in a way that none of the other games here do. Is it enough to singlehandedly make Namco Museum Archives Vol. 1 worth picking up? Probably not…but it’s good enough that I’d at least have to think about it before answering that question. At the very least, it justifies the collection’s existence, even if the rest will probably only appeal to you if you want another version of games that, mostly, have been available elsewhere for decades.- Gaming Age
