Overlooking the fact you might have to start from scratch, there is a ton of content to ensure your time spent with the Sims will borderline on the obsessive. The celebrity, rock star and vampire aspects change up the gameplay enough to keep it fresh even for those who have dedicated an unhealthy amount of hours to the game.

Pokemon Trozei is different, addictive, and has some great multiplayer options.

It’s hard not to love a title that piles on all the game modes (including multiplayer) and makes the racing element actually fun.

Fun, engaging, and has a high replay value. It has been a while since I played a mech game that had me saying “just one more level!” until well past midnight.

This is not the prestigious resuscitation of the series I had hoped for. There are valiant moments of glory that shine through the debris, although they are always burdened by mechanical gameplay and shallow characters that expect you to care without reason.

An entertaining and addictive first-person shooter sans the blood and violence seen in most FPS games. This is a highly competitive sport and the game does a brilliant job of representing it throughout the single and multiplayer matches.

Outside of Mario Kart DS, this has been the most enjoyable racer on the Nintendo DS.

The developers were clearly inspired by other games, but that's Ok - they changed things up by turning it into a top-down run-and gun-game with tons of action and ammo. Take a gander at this one if you like your games bloody with some doses of dread.

While we wish the graphics, enemy AI and sniper bits were better, the online multiplayer is great and there are some great missions later on in the game.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom thrives on the power of clever puzzles and the enjoyable simplicity of combat. Awkward moments of backtracking and horrible voice-acting are nearly forgotten in the ensuing moments of pride and the excitement of uncovering hidden items.

Most games lose their luster after you've killed the 999th warrior, but Total Warrior keeps things fresh throughout the journey.

It has everything you want in your fighting games with the exception of online capabilities.

Kids (young kids) will like this game except for the frustration. The vehicle controls aren't very accurate, causing a lot of unnecessary screw ups during that part of the game. Other than that it's a piewalk.

If you’re looking for a rousing time full of charm and humor, A Vampyre Story provides a tremendous amount of both.

The game moves at a slower pace, with a lot of cutscenes and dialogue advanced to get players through to the action. The game does have charm though, and the battle is handled very well indeed.

Covenant of the Plume is a wonderfully diverse game with a deep and involving story that makes this one of the more rewarding Valkyrie Profile games available.

I am really enjoying playing this title. The little movies you can watch about the characters, the Illustrations you unlock as you fight your way up the tower, the werewolf that latches on to you and starts spilling blood like it was cheap beer.

Like an overblown Hollywood action flick, Army of Two is an explosive good time that has its weaknesses here and there but it won’t stop you from enjoying the bullet-fueled action.

If you enjoy third person action titles or RTS games, and enjoy some really good battles in between building and resource gathering all wrapped around a good vs. evil story which is interesting and contains some decent plot twists, you will definitely want to check out Spellforce.

It wasn’t landmark on any level, but it can compete with the current PC action big boys.

If you’re not a fan of side-scrolling brawlers you may not find this collection quite as entertaining. There are other genres within the collection, but the beat ‘em ups are definitely what shine the brightest.

Boxing and wrestling games seem rather sedate compared to the brutish force of this game. But if you can get past the graphical violence, and enjoy the challenge of a controlled street fight that looks amazing, then you will probably enjoy this brawl.

While it’s not as highly innovative as it was meant to be, XIII on the Xbox is still an addictive action-noir first-person shooter with a lot of style.

Definitely one of the best games I have played on Gamecube. Even the occasional camera problem didn’t hinder my enjoyment of this one.

If you're not tear-jerked over MK's greatness, it's doubtful that the other games will have you reaching for a handkerchief.

The harder players work out the better the avatars will look at the end of their program. This is a neat extra incentive to continue to play this game.

Sure it doesn’t control as well as "Ridge Racer" but this is a portable version of the Underground game minus the empty exploration or a story.

Great graphics driven by a good game engine results in smooth play even when the action gets hot and heavy.
