The jump and action buttons are very responsive to what Peach needs to do in order to save her friends.

The game’s battle system allows for some truly ‘tactical’ confrontation, in which you can win (assuming you play well) when out numbered and out leveled.

Sure, the game’s far from perfect. Still, it’s one of best fighting games ever to grace the PS2, and for only 20 bucks, it’s about the best deal in gaming today.

FATE is a wonderful example of game mechanics, visuals, and level design orchestrated into a cohesive experience. Regrettably, that experience is also very short and anticlimactic. BIT.TRIP FATE isn't my favorite entry in the series, but it is an incredibly unique shooter that is enjoyable while it lasts.

Assault Heroes 2 is not quite as revolutionary as the original, but adds enough new features to keep the experience fresh and fun.

An experience that never stops giving, even after hours of play. Hydro Thunder Hurricane is the must-have arcade racer of 2010.

Somewhat of a niche game, The Eye of Judgment nonetheless makes the whole trading card game genre accessible and graphically entertaining.

There’s no doubt about, Madden NFL 06 for the PSP is portable football you can’t afford to be without. Yes we’ve seen Madden on the GBA and most recently on the Nintendo DS but with PS2 connectivity, sharp visuals and solid gameplay this is by far the best handheld version.

The sum of its parts does not always equal the end score. This is a good, quality title that has few bugs, an engaging story and maybe more than a few cliches.

Lego Star Wars III should easily be the best the series has to offer. With superior graphics and a decent variety of game styles, it easily overcomes any shortcomings in narrative. Unfortunately, the same problems that have plagued previous Lego games are still on display: difficult to control vehicles, overly simplified combat, unresponsive controls, glitches, drawn out levels, and poor guidance.

    Gun
After playing through it once, I was left feeling a little disappointed. GUN is still a fun adventure, but lacks in some elements that could have made it a real hit.

While the game does stumble on a few fronts, X-Men Origins comes as close as ever to capturing the spirit of Wolverine.

Graphically I was disappointed. I was hoping for a little animation.

How detailed is this title? Well, suffice it to say that it has received FAA approval to be used as a training tool for pilots aiming for commercial certification, instrument rating and airline transport pilot certification...This is not a game for the casual flight sim fan. This title will require a lot of thought, and a lot of effort. For the more serious fan of the genre, this might provide the depth, variety and challenge you are looking for.

An innovative mixture of Internet research, email and mini arcade type games that blend the line between realism and escapism. Having said that, there are a few mini-games that can only be beaten by repetition and practice.

It’s an improvement over the two movie adaptations as it is unquestionably faithful to the comic series. I haven’t seen another comic book video game this faithful to its license.

If fans would like to hear a mockery of Sonic name, then Sonic the Hedgehog 4 should be at the top of their list for soundtracks to listen to.

Overall, Batman: The Brave and the Bold is a little too short and simplistic to guarantee any mass appeal, but I got a kick out of its family-friendly approach to Batman and his DC brethren.

What Droplitz lacks in personality and originality, it makes up for in fun, addictive gameplay. Unfortunately, bit of repetition and a lack of multiplayer keep this one from dropping into must-have territory.

The game’s single player mode is short . . . really short. As good as the story is and the action heavy and hot, you’ll find that the game can be beaten fairly quickly.
