While some of the changes will filter into the game anyway, what RoK does is revamp many areas as well as provide a solid race with a good storyline. The new lands are also worth exploring, with some nice surprises and rewards available to players.

This is a thoroughly entertaining game that is a delightful bit of eye candy rolled into an adrenaline-charged action-adventure game.

The great gameplay, top-notch graphics (for a DS game) and impressive music makes for a great title. The easy difficulty might turn off some players but it really shouldn’t. If you can’t enjoy this game then I should question why are you even playing games?

This game is absolutely not for everybody. Most gamers brought up on the cushy, forgiving action games of the last decade will probably feel like somebody slapped them in the face the first time they play it. But for the right sort of person, that slap in the face is exactly what they’ve been craving. Contra 4 presents some of the best, most hardcore run-and-gun shooting action on the DS, and is a breath of fresh, alien-blood-scented air for the system, and gaming in general.

The graphical facelift has really pulled this game up to the next level, but Mythic was not satisfied to end it there. Instead it added new races, and new zones while expanding the mythology of the game as well.

The control elements of this game were wonderfully ported from the PC to the PS2.

Though you see the initial action (as in the pitcher delivering the ball and the batter swinging) in real time, the replays don’t show the ball actually hitting the bat, nor the outfielder, or infielder, actually gloving the ball. It all just disappears as it gets close to the contact point.

Conviction appeals to a whole new crowd that grew up on creating distractions, using every single gadget in their inventory and dragging bodies into shadows. If Conviction is evidence of where Ubisoft is taking the series, they are about to win over a lot of new fans and potentially upset a portion of those already loyal.

Easily one of the best first person shooters I've seen in a long time. The last time I had this much fun with a shooter was with "Half-Life" when it first came out. The great controls, involving storyline for the single-player game, good sound track, and the multiplayer options available make for an impressive game.

The matches are intense to the point where they are nail-biting. Many times I had my eyes tearing up from never wasting a second to blink.

Agent 47 is a great character and the game is so original and fun that you will want to go back and try all sorts of wacky ways of eliminating your quarry.

Challenging, fast-finger button mashing mechanics are the order of the day, but the result is a game that is easy to pick up and tough to master.

It has some pacing issues, loose ends, and can be absurdly linear, but none of these factors can overpower the incredible events that unfold.

GTR Evolution is a fine addition to SimBin’s repertoire of driving sims, offering some great features and unrivaled tracks for fans of authentic racing games.

There are moments when the button-mashing action gets a bit old but suddenly the game tosses in cool boss battles and some truly unforgettable moments Marvel fans will definitely love.

The Wii version succeeds with intuitive motion controls.

Besides the camera, the graphics are some of the best I've seen in fighting games.

Dark Hero Days is not only one of the most enjoyable sequels with a lot to offer SRPG fans but it’s also one of the more surprisingly fun Disgaea games to come along on the PSP.

So I admit this game is an ass kicker, especially for all you fighter pilot gamers out there. By all means add this title to your collection. Just make sure you have an over abundance of patience, and a full head of hair, because you will be pulling it out.

Every single aspect -- the controls, the gameplay, the graphics, etc. -- has been improved 110%. You may not notice all of the improvements at first, but the game will suck you in immediately.

With more playable maps, including the excellent space combat battles, and the inclusion of heroes and villains makes this a particularly satisfying Star Wars games fans will love.

Colonization is exactly my type of turn-based strategy. I don’t miss the tech trees, and love the focus on economics and trade.

I will defend this title to anyone who doesn't see it for its complete originality, creative gameplay and darn cute puppies. This is the game that will sell another million Nintendo DSs.

I was drawn to play Europa Universalis III because of the sheer amount of options that it offers. Not many games allow you to control an empire for more than 300 years and allow you to do it any way you see fit.

Helsing's Fire may be one of the most well-built games on the iPhone, and may be one of the most enjoyable, but every purchase you and your friends make for it, is another purchase against the undead.

One of the most frustrating games I have ever played...but is also one of the most entertaining. If you don't have any patience, Frequency probably isn't for you.
