The graphics are top notch as well, very clean and distinct. Items are easily recognizable and the line of sight is strong.

The levels are teeming with things to do, with tons of goals to perform in each one of them. There is also no shortage of playable characters, with a plethora of pro skaters and secret characters to help you on your journey.

Lords of Shadow is not without a handful of unfortunate imperfections, but that does not invalidate the fact that there is no more painstakingly-crafted action adventure currently available for this generation of consoles. MercurySteam has raised the bar especially in both art design and overall presentation, and should be extremely proud of their creation.

Even without the Final Fantasy VII moniker, Crisis Core would still be a great action-RPG game on the PSP. However, the game actually adds to the original’s universe, making it a title that fans will definitely want to check out.

THQ and Vigil Games did an outstanding job creating an intellectual property that has weight. The voice-acting is top-notch, the combat is exquisite, the replay value is high, and the world they have created is fascinating. Darksiders is a marvelous way to start out 2010.

Although a few minor issues with the camera and player interaction were apparent, this game has definitely sparked my interested in the baseball genre of video games.

The controls were thoughtfully kept simple and easy to memorize for one specific reason: to allow gamers to focus on the new EA Sports Freestyle Control function.

It’s packed with replay value, solid objectives, a stellar vehicle lineup, and dozens of individual races. The faux multiplayer mode brings the game down a half-point, but overall, you won’t find a better next-gen rally racer.

The Be A Pro mode alone was worth a play-through – the enhanced controls only sweeten the deal.

The game’s biggest boon is the great destruction engine, which is not only technically impressive, but adds some great new elements to the gameplay. The missions are also very meaty and go on for a good long while, never letting up on the intensity level.

Broken Mirror actually doubles all the goodies from Omega Dawn in a perfect booster pack well worth the download price tag. If you want yet another excuse to hit the Warhawk battlefield then do not miss this add-on.

It’s original and addictive – but it’s not for everyone.

Those who haven't played the previous games will be awestruck by how much depth the game has, and how much it takes to get the hang of each function.

It’s not a new concept, but the execution is tight. Torchlight is a nice ride that echoes with memories of grand gaming times of the past, while using an updated style and graphic charm to keep it fresh and fun.

This game should actually get two separate ratings -- because it really is unplayable right now (a 1), but with the bugs fixed I think it will be a 10.

Realistic enough to be enjoyable, but not complicated to the point that only current or ex-pilots would be able to enjoy it.
