This is almost a case of “what could have been.” While the game itself isn’t a bad game, per se, it’s not a very good game, either. There just isn’t enough content.

Even after you've succeeded in mastering the ridiculous controls, the game never really feels like a racing game should.

A fun and addictive game that people who enjoy tabletop games like Risk will no doubt get a kick out of and will more than likely sink multiple hours of their life into.

Seems like a bit of a retread on a few of the expansion elements, but does, marginally, expand the game.

It's a simpler fighting game, but I think that the UFC followers will really get into it. The cheap price doesn't hurt either.

Though flawed, Flower, Sun and Rain offers perhaps more than one would expect from a game certain to be remembered as Suda's rookie effort. The story is shockingly original and fearless, and the game's style is irrefutably Suda. It's just a shame there isn't much of a game beneath all the ideas.

Extremely derivative and half-baked, El Matador fails to bring anything new to the table.

It doesn’t bring anything new to gameplay, but considering DA:O’s battle system was already pretty darn good, no one can fault them for not trying anything new.

If you overlook a few key areas you might find a game that offers something a little different than the standard turn-based strategy game.

The problem is that levels themselves are just so poorly designed that there is no real appeal to them and they lack the certain charm as seen in games like "Aggressive Inline" or "Dave Mirra BMX 2."

While there isn’t anything really new or different, the overall package is fun and is a good choice for family fun.

My enjoyment quickly turned into boredom as I restarted at a certain save point over and over again, due to my "scare" power meter running out every time a ghost ran over me after escaping from my attempted Tome catching.

Fans of Sonic and the Secret Rings may want to rent Black Knight to experience the speedy, roller coaster-inspired stages. But most players will be disappointed, frustrated and frequently annoyed by stage interruptions and other gameplay elements that should not exist.

Graphically this game looks very good, and it does play reasonably well. But the game has very little in the way of options and even at the beginning stages of racing it is hard to accrue points simply because your machine is not that good.

Slow enough for players to mistake it for a first-generation PSone game.

May leave gamers feeling a bit unfulfilled because of the lack of features and game modes.

This game is fun, addictive and fast-paced. It may not be entirely original, but it does hold its own in the world of PS driving sims.

The game does have some pretty detailed 2D graphics and nice sound, but the frustrating combat system and repetitive action make the overall presentation of the game lackluster.

The audio track, control setbacks, and average physical graphics combine to make this an average first-person shooter.
