The sense of atmosphere and ambience from the excellent PC version is all but gone from the PS2 version, with stiff controls, dumb AI, long loading times and tons of strange bugs. Overall, the gameplay is a shell of the PC version.

The control elements are mixed and players may find themselves trying to move the game along through stabbing at the wrong keys. However, get past that and you will find a game that moves along nicely, but won’t offer anything new or markedly different.

I have major issues with the steering being too sensitive, but most everything seems to chug along quite nicely. Outfitting cars and stocking up the garage is always fun, but prepared to invest some time to do so.

The concept of the team play, and using different leaders and formations for different situations is find, but maybe a little overdone.

If you like to tear done the rudimentary elements of a vehicle and then build it back up with new parts, all under a budget, you may find some diversion in this title. However, the time spent unscrewing bolts is disproportionately large compared to the time testing your creation.

Somewhat linear, but boasts a lot of eye candy and solid gameplay. This is a good title in solo play, but much better in cooperative game play.

The gameplay is a marvelous mixture of the industry's most prominent eras: the late 80s (8-bit consoles) and the late 90s (32-bit consoles).

This title is well done, and though it could have been better with a few tweaks here and there, for those who want a strategic game that is mostly non-linear in terms of accomplishing goals and requires you to think through movement phases, then Silent Storm may be what you are looking for.

More complicated than "SimCity" but loads more satisfying once you get the hang of it.

Fun at first, but after a while it falls prey to repetitive gameplay and mindless hack & slash action. At most, the game would be a good rental for fans of the Fallout PC series or those looking for more "Dark Alliance."

Not flight combat at its most graceful and this alone keeps it from being a highly addictive action game set in the Star Trek universe.

Looks good and is easy to play, but may not have enough substance to please the more advanced gamer.

All of the players react to the slightest touch of the controller and that is the way it should be! You can play NFL Street for months on end and you will never get bored with it.

Like "NBA Street," the gameplay is easy enough to be pick-up-and-play friendly but deep enough to stay entertaining for weeks.

You'll get bored with the single-player modes but will play it just to unlock everything. The unlocked goodies (extra players, fields, etc.) only make the multiplayer games more fun.

Veteran players will probably tire of it after a couple of days since you can’t really do anything with changing out cards or making decks until after a long period of winning, and playing against what seems like the same cards over and over again may get dull.

The best thing is that this version allows gamers to play with their friends throughout the game cooperatively, which is a blast. If you got the first game than you will definitely want to play this one.

Even though the controls are tight and responsive, you’ll be left wondering why your character didn’t pull off a move that you entered. Button mashing will probably work fine for most players, instead of trying to work on a particular move.

Even though Sonic Heroes has its shortcomings; it is really fun to play. At times this game offers the classic Sonic feeling as you zip through some of these levels as fast as a speeding bullet.

The side scrolling title you've been waiting for. If you enjoyed "Metal Slug," this game is for you!

Still very solid, but there is nothing new to add to your gameplay. The bots are simply players that don't really exist, but boy are they skilled!

This title ported very well to the Xbox. Though mostly a quest-driven RPG, Arx Fatalis still manages to offer enough variety and discovery to keep players enthralled.

While the game’s controls are identical to Diablo, even Diablo veterans will quickly realize that this is little more than a hack and slash title only due to the small amount of drops and no pieces of armor or weapons to be found, and the gameplay gets very repetitive very quickly.

While the PC version sports weaker textures and graphics than the console versions (as well as some gamepad issues), Wakeboarding Unleashed still is a pretty good translation of a great extreme sports game.

Offers a great and versatile combo system, interactive environments, and an overall refreshing take on fighting games. However, the controls are pretty cumbersome, and can lead to unnecessary frustration.

A game that should be reviled and admired at the same time. I kept wanting to despise the game but found myself playing it more and more.

Sure, the humor is a little flat because of the restrictions of the GBA, but the graphics are very well done, and players will have no trouble jumping in and playing.

Both brilliant and amazingly true to the original. Not only does it faithfully capture all the things we loved about the console version of this game, but also it takes advantage of the Game Boy Advance’s full potential.

Nothing more than a slight improvement over the other console edition. Having said that, if you’ve always wanted to give the Sims a try and haven’t played the older version, this is definitely the version to pick up.

The best multi-platform real-time strategy game ever made. It's packed with replay value; you'll want to start another game and play through it again right after finishing it.
