    While the actually gameplay is without much issue, it borrows heavily from other games, particularly the "Rogue Squadron" series, making its mission-based gameplay highly unoriginal and trite.

    Sadly, this game is no "Ikaruga," or even a "Crimson Skies"; the truth of the matter is that I could be playing my old copy of AstroBlast on my old Atari 2600 (well, if it still worked) and get the same amount of "rush" shooting random rocks as I could at shooting down ships and their shields in this game.

    At a time where Star Trek is at its lowest popularity, an abysmal game like this will not win over any new fans and is a horrid example of the Star Trek franchise.

    Simply a terrible game. Bad graphics, poor sound, lousy play mechanics, dull mission design, occasional crashes and no Captain Kirk combine to make this an adventure best left to the unknown.

    It is VERY challenging compared to other games of it's genre. The ship is hard to contol, (I found myself rolling right instead of It is VERY challenging compared to other games of it's genre. The ship is hard to contol, (I found myself rolling right instead of accelerating on more than one occasion) and opposing vessels are pretty hard to destroy, not to mention CATCH. If you want a brake from easy-kill air/space shooter like Ace Cobat 4 or Crimson Skies, this game is a must. And it DOESN'T require you to be a Trekkie. (I am, though :) But it does help you understand the plot a bit.… Expand
