Sonic CD is fine game, however, and Sonic R and Sonic the Fighters are worth checking out at the very least. Any fan of Sonic really ought to pick it up.

The AI may be a little suspect, and the animation a little stiff when compared to similar fighters, but KOF: Maximum Impact is a major step forward for the franchise.

This game is just not much fun. Spyro Dawn of the Dragon could have been a great game, but the game as a whole isn’t an engaging experience on the Wii. There are worthy qualities present, but they don’t succeed in raising this game above mediocrity. It’s hard to recommend this game to anyone except a die-hard Spyro fan.

Operation Flashpoint: Elite doesn't rise above its various imperfects nor will it satisfy even the most hardcore shooter fans looking for a good shooter fix.

Ys: The Ark of Napishtim falls short in innovating or creating something fresh from an old idea.

There are some moments when Puzzle Kingdoms is a lot of fun, almost addictively so. But it relies too heavily on a puzzle game that just simply isn't that deep or fun.

White Knight Chronicles has several faulty elements, but the game is long (the original released in Japan a couple of years back was estimated at 100 hours – but it can be done in between 65 and 80) and the story is decently layered making for a nice bit of J-RPG gaming.

Shining Force EXA is can be fun at times, but the simplistic combat can wear you down after a while, and the overall experience is lacking in depth.

NBA Live 10 is a title that EA Sports can use as a building block towards the future. Not everything is fine and dandy with this year’s iteration, but the product presented at least is able to keep the attention of the gamer for more than 15 minutes.

The game is just as strange and flashy as it looks – but among that weirdness is a game that’s pretty darn fun.

Provides enough of a rush to deal with the fact that the game tends to get a little monotonous.

Uninspired shooting elements, horrible AI, poor controls and a host of bugs basically line this one out.

Don’t expect the game to have much to do with a true re-enactment of the Pearl Harbor attack and accept the fantasy that this game brings to the foreground. What it does, it does well.

Commando isn't for everyone. But fans of Metal Slug and other pound-you-into-the-ground, never-let-you-win shooters will appreciate what the developers have done with this game.

The game is extremely repetitive, but for what it offers it is nice. The controls are really tight and after you get acquainted with how to fly the ship you will find yourself flying like an ace in no time.

Prince of Persia: The Fallen King is a game that just sort of falls into no man’s land. It’s not bad, and it’s not particularly good. While there are a lot of good ideas, the execution isn’t polished enough to realize that potential.

Unfortunately, NBA Live 07 doesn’t play like a pro on the PSP and much of it has to do with the misuse of the Superstar abilities and the slow-as-molasses framerate.

A half-baked game that only die-hard fans of the Matrix will truly appreciate.

Live 06 on the 360 comes out of the gate as a rush job in order to make the system’s launch, and is ultimately a disappointment, one that surely doesn’t warrant its $60 asking price. Wait for 07.

While the game does feature some nice improvements over its predecessor, it can’t really compete with the much better action titles out there.

Accessible, with a great cast of villains, Fantastic Four is an entertaining ride into a comic book. The levels are a little short, and the game does have a few clipping problems that color an otherwise fun experience.

There isn’t much to this game and it is very short. More challenges and variety of gameplay would have helped.

Spongebob’s Atlantis Squarepantis successfully utilizes the SpongeBob license to create a game with great controls, excellent mechanics, and diverse levels and objectives.

Knowing the story is a great asset here, but I feel that anyone can enjoy this one. The colors, characters and environment add to the challenge of the quests.

A wonderfully freaky good time with plenty of high-flying action and humor, although the game does feel a bit incomplete in a lot of places.

It's got many of the elements that made "Metal Gear Solid" a success, like voice-overs that are performed by real actors. That alone is going to have the hardcore crowd buzzing.

A classic and a disappointment rolled into one. You’ll love it, you’ll hate it. But you won’t be disinterested.

A decent product that has a few adjustments that need to be made. I am sure that the next revisions of this game will definitely become a really great product that people will be waiting in line for every year like Madden and the NCAA football series.
