Sega Superstars Tennis is a few stars short of Virtua Tennis quality. It’s got some of the right pieces (and some ugly deformed shapes called “mini-games” that should’ve been tossed aside) but none of them came together.

No user interface creates a bit of a different feel to the game. The flow, though, is very nice and the game uses the school as a sandbox game mechanic, letting players move through the quests at their own pace.

Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon is utterly depressing. I wouldn’t mind, if there seemed to be a reasonable, unified theme. I want to love it for the beautiful world and frightening ghosts within, but beauty can only overcome absolute boredom for so long.

Dewey is a little over the top for older gamers, but a little too complicated for really young gamers. Either way it provides a decent amount of fun and a very unique take on your average water droplet.

In Cold Blood is not a terrible game, but there is nothing really special here.

Somehow, THQ has managed to pull of an interesting feat--designing a game that takes a different approach to the snowboarding genre and that is actually quite fun.

I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised by how fast this game played. I never expected a game about chariot racing to be so fast and exciting.

You want a superb soundtrack - you got it. You want a good-looking, stunt-driving, high-flying motocross outing - you got that too.

Sure you’ll miss the features found on the bigger boys (Owner Mode or even Spring Training Mode) but there’s just no denying how good this game feels in your hands.

Nintendo had its market clearly defined with this offering, and while it’s an extremely barebones game, it does everything it sets out to do very well.

Boils down to this: if you like Midways racing games, you're going to really enjoy this. If you're not a big fan of racing games or Midway, this probably isn't even going to grab your attention.

Upper-tier analog batting and pitching make for a unique and enjoyable baseball experience. The rest of the game is average with annoying technical issues and opponent/teammate AI that is, for the most part, dreadful.

A quick and original puzzle game that quickly becomes repetitive.

While the game really doesn’t introduce anything we haven’t already seen in a shooter, the dinosaur-filled world and the intriguing story of revenge are enough to keep this game from being a bore.

For a MSRP of 30 bucks I think it is a steal. I would like to mention that there is no multiplayer capability online. This will most likely be the most controversial down side of the game.

Touch Detective 2 1/2 is essentially the same as the original title, albeit with some brand new cases and puzzles. If you were a huge fan of the first game, then Touch Detective 2 1/2 is right up your alley.

Those who approach Smash-Up hoping for a solid, enjoyable alternative to Smash Bros. will be pleased, but Turtles fans hoping for a celebration of the franchise will probably be disappointed by the game’s shameful “scratch the surface” approach to Eastman and Laird’s storied 25-year-old franchise.

Thanks to its tranquil setting and realism, this is a game that requires some patience... but when the fish start biting, its arcade-styled action cannot be beat.

The game has a complex plot and a decent idea with the hacking ID element, but for the most part this is a typical shooter. Stylish graphics are not enough to overcome that.

It’s just too bad that EA Sports hasn’t really stepped up the game’s minor faults from last year. Still, this one is worth the purchase price.

Fun, original and edgy, Geist is an action-packed ghost story that attempts go well beyond the usual shoot-um-up fare. It's a rare blend of bullet-fueled action and puzzle-solving that involves spiritual possessions of souls and objects.

Only those who have racing in their blood, and are veterans of circuit wars will find this the type of game they can jump in and play. For others, who seek games that don’t require the level of skill this game demands, you would be better off finding another title.
