Almost every aspect functions at an extremely low quality level with controls that are jerky, continually re-appearing enemies in the most unlikely places, and seriously weak AI.

Stay away from this game! It might have the voice of Johnny Depp, but it’s got the looks of something that crawled out of Godzilla’s throat, and the personality to match.

Not something that is going to impress anybody. Hardcore fans of the series may enjoy the humor and story line some but even they might feel less then satisfied after their purchase.

This title’s one saving grace is its 20 dollar price tag, but even at 20 dollars I’d still rather walk the plank then play this game.

Playing MTV’s Celebrity Deathmatch is like watching a bad episode of the show and owning it is like watching that same episode over and over and over and over again. I think I’ll pass.

A shallow, hyper-sexualized wrestling game that makes up its lack of finesse with an absurd amount of flash. It might be worth a rent to ogle the ladies, but beyond that, avoid it completely.

Sure they pepper the play with lots of weapons and the ability to use vehicles, but I really couldn’t get past how badly the game was programmed.

From a basic story line, to a highly simplistic control system, to graphics that really appear dated, there isn’t much here justifying even its $20 cost. Save your money.

You will be gravely disappointed if you drop some well earned cash for Purge. Good for a few fleeting moments of mayhem and little else, Purge was a disappointment to the extreme.

There are few redeeming qualities and this title should be avoided.

The controls are horrendous, relying on an uncontrollable camera angle that seems to mostly face the wrong way in a 3D game. The end result is that you won’t know what you are up against or where you are headed until it’s too late.

For the love of all that is holy, stay away from this game, it’s one of the worst examples of use of license out there.

After I got bored playing this game for all of 30 minutes I took the CD outside in my backyard -- it makes for one fine Frisbee, not to mention the hours of fun my black lab and I had.

This game has less to see than most budget titles I’ve seen, and it still carries a top shelf price tag.
