Dofus: Battles 2 might not bring anything revolutionary to the table, but it is a refreshing twist on the tower defense/attack genre that benefits from being set in an established fantasy world. It's not a game for the quick-twitch crowd, but if you're looking for something that rewards quick thinking and clever strategies, this is probably right up your alley.

Crow should be lauded for ambition and its attempt to raise the bar in mobile gaming. At risk of looking a gift horse in the mouth, however, I'd argue that it doesn't deviate all that far from the platform's mini-game standards; instead, it wraps them in a much glossier package.

Walking away from Ice Age Village feeling satisfied is an easy thing to do, especially if you're a fan of the film series. While it would have been nice to see a bit more social in this social game, the gameplay that exists stands on its own as being fun and compelling. Considering the cost of entry, I'd recommend the game to anyone even mildly interested.

While the strength of the game is variety, it's also its downfall. With only one map at launch, it can get boring to play the same landscape over and over. Not to mention some people discover their favorite spots and refuse to leave. When more content comes out, the game will be that much better. But when the biggest complaint one can file is "I want more!" then the game is doing something right.

There's nothing bad I can say about Nightfall. It's Playdek's finest game to date, and people that might've been a bit bored by the solitary nature of Ascension will find a ton to like here. While Universal Movie Tycoon could easily function as a game--and be a rather enjoyable one at that--it refuses to just be a pleasant reminder of some of your favorite film franchises in the middle of a fun experience. On multiple occasions I've paid three or four times as much for games that have far less to offer and aren't nearly as fun as Reckless Racing 2. It bears repeating that this game can stand proudly side-by-side with almost any arcade racer on any other platform.

Polished, deep, and a complete joy. I could go on for hours about how much I've enjoyed Dungeon Raid, but your time is much better spent actually playing the game.

You've got to love a game that your only complaints of it are that it's too short and too fair in its difficulty. There's really there's no downside here. The graphics are colorful and beautiful, Character design fits perfectly. The music is outstanding. The list of good parts goes on and on.
