Joe Danger is an extremely polished and well-developed game, so I'm going to be nitpicky for a minute as I mention some cons. For as gorgeous as the graphics are in the game, there is a disappointing lack of variety in scenery, and a very anticlimactic final level.- Gamezebo

Those are very minor qualms that shouldn’t stop you from playing Battleheart Legacy if you’re into the genre at all. It is silly, and it's strange, and it's simple -- and the truth is that aside from a couple of technical quibbles (and a bit of sadness, for obvious reasons, that girls don't like nerds), it's also really good. Mikey Hooks' only real hiccup is that the controls aren't perfect. I know, I know, I said that they are some of the best platforming controls I've had the pleasure to play on a touch-screen - but they're still not spot-on. The sliding in particular feels irksome at times, especially on the later levels which require far more precision thanks to the plethora of spikes and traps scattered about the place.- Gamezebo

HoPiKo’s repetition is what helps you learn the ins and outs of every segment and level. That doesn’t mean things don’t get a little frustrating, though. As unexpected surprises go, Battle Bay ranks right up there near the top. It’s definitely not the game one would expect from Rovio, yet it manages to take what other companies have done in the multiplayer PvP space and build out from there with its own unique twists. It’s going to sink or swim on its player community, but it’s absolutely worth a try to see if it gets your competitive juices flowing.- Gamezebo

Every aspect of the game feels minutely considered, like the fact that the skulls of victims you’ve killed remain in the level and will be kicked around as you pass by or the way still-alive characters shake and glance around nervously once they’re aware of your presence. The inclusion of hints, full solutions, and level skips; tons of achievements and leaderboards; and optional gore sliders to reduce the blood and carnage indicate Blue Wizard was truly thinking of all their players when they created this game. It worked: this Valentine’s Day, we’ve given our heart to Slayaway Camp.- Gamezebo

Ultimately, The Witness is a solid mobile adaptation of a really enjoyable puzzle game. It’s every bit as clever and compelling as it is on PC and consoles. At a time when it’s ever more difficult for a game to convince us to not only listen, but just keep the sound on, Miracle Merchant offers an engaging audio environment for its players. Thanks to a score and sound effects by Craig S Barnes, the game is able to offer a soundtrack that lets you think without being distracting. The sound effects themselves also seem incredibly true to the fantasy world that you’re temporarily inhabiting in the game, itself another real accomplishment. The lack of progression means things may get stale fast for some players, but if you’re the type of gamer who strives to find new strategies that let them bump their score up over time and dominate their friends on the leaderboards, Miracle Merchant is a potion that’s well worth sipping.- Gamezebo

Before playing Eclipse I believed that what it set out to achieve was nigh impossible. The board game offers many things that seem mutually incompatible. The app squeezes a game needing acres of table into an iPad screen. Framed 2 is a brilliant study in hybrid genres. It has the feeling of an action game, with bad guys and cops and gun pulling and attack dogs. But it also has the cerebral engagement of interactive narrative and puzzle-based problem solving. In a game where even failure is surprisingly soothing, the emotional reward of success is worth chasing.- Gamezebo

It might get repetitive if you play it for too long, but the initial draw (pun not intended) means you’ll soon be quite endeared towards it. Even if it does take you a while to unlock any equipment upgrades.- Gamezebo

Too responsive controls aside, Old Man’s Journey is a beautiful, affecting experience from start to finish that rewards players that are willing to take their time and admire each scene in full before forging ahead.- Gamezebo

Each individual piece of this skiing adventure is brilliant, but it’s the combination of everything that makes it a must play. We can’t give Grand Mountain Adventure anything but a perfect score because everything it does it does well, and there’s a ton of content on offer for those that pay the inexpensive IAP to unlock it all. The developers have only got themselves to beat if they choose to work on a sequel.- Gamezebo
