NBA Live 16 is a conflicting game: it desperately wants to be a simulation, but in the end it's almost too easy for the player. It's a little bit better than the previous installments, but it desperately needs a more clear direction for the future.

This game offers more quantity than quality: a lot of things to do and to unlock, but the combat system and the graphics are definitely second-rate.

Let's make it short: Extreme Exorcism is the perfect filler between AAAs, especially when you play the Challenge mode.

Animal Crossing has always been a peculiar experience. This spin-off, however, with its boring and repetitive gameplay, can't manage to catch the interest of the player.

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is the most comprehensive and polished episode of the entire (and rather puckish) franchise. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean that it's something we can recommend, unless you find it on sale.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, the biggest and most ambitious work from Hajime Tabata (the man behind the anticipated Final Fantasy XV), is a game that constantly struggles between genius and mediocrity, and the PC porting does not help, on way or the other. Few technical improvements, and very few new features.

Lost Dimension is a visual novel disguised as a tactical RPG. It's a pretty unique and original title, unfortunately troubled by very low production values. Keep in mind that the PS Vita version is a little bit better than the PS3 one.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 was a decent game when it first come out, and this porting for PS Vita is well done, even if it doesn't add anything truly remarkable. Considering the shortage of games for the Sony portable console, it might be worth a try.

Devil’s Third is a real disappointment: a game that shows a lack of ideas, and a more than mediocre production. The multiplayer might become slightly interesting in the future, but for now it's a title that you can easily forget about.

Undoubtedly a niche product, Sword Art Online RE: Hollow Fragment is perfect for cosplayers and hardcore fans of Reki Kawahara's novels, but it won't probably be remembered for being a great dungeon crawler.

The porting of ZombiU on other platforms is decent, and the new control system is well implemented; the game is still good, with its great atmosphere and a nice mix of survival elements. The graphics, though, are almost identical to the original, and that's not a compliment.

Sometimes you are moved. Sometimes you laugh. For the most part, though, you get bored. The first episode of The King's Quest reboot has tremendous production values, with its over-the-top voice over and the extraordinary artistic direction, but the game relies too much on backtracking and tedious quests, and too little on the (clever and well-thought) puzzles. We can only hope for a drastic change of pace for the second episode.

Sorcerer King has a couple of interesting and original features, but Stardock focused a little bit too much on them, overlooking the pillars of the 4X genre, especially the AI of the enemies and the variety of the playable races. It's not a bad game, but definitely overpriced for what it can offer.

Tamriel Unlimited is a good porting, but the game on console suffers from the same conceptual problems of the PC version. Try it if you are a fan of The Elder Scrolls saga only.

Ronin took some risks, trying to mix two very different genres, and combining them in what ends up being a stiff, repetitive yet short game. The concept is intriguing. The execution, not so much.

This third episode of the Telltale incursion into the Borderlands universe starts off reaaaally slow, gaining pace towards the end, with a great cliffhanger and some interesting twists between a couple of characters. A decent filler: nothing more, nothing less.

Natsume tried to bring the series back to its roots, scratching out some features, but in the process something got lost, primarily the feeling of discovery and fulfillment of the first episodes. Pass.

Spike Chunsoft tried to create something unique with its J-Stars Victory VS Plus, and we appreciate the effort, but the truth is that we can easily file this game under the "nice try" category. Beautiful to see, not fun to play.

With a little bit more courage and polish, Reincarnation could have been a great starting point for a reboot of a classic franchise. The gameplay is still fun and silly, but there is nothing really new here.

Shark Punch makes its debut in the real-time tactics genre with some charming ideas, starting with an original setting and some well-crafted levels. Unfortunately, some questionable design choices, a less than average AI and a poor technical production clip the wings of a potentially nice title.

Fossil Fighters Frontier is nothing more than a Pokémon rip-off, where the familiar little monsters are replaced by dinosaurs. A mediocre title that could appeal only to young lovers of the ancient, extinct reptiles. Forgettable.

This third and final DLC of The Evil Within took an unexpected (but welcome) action turn: after countless hours spent measuring out every single bullet, The Executioner is a nearly cathartic experience. Anyway, do not expect much more than a couple of hours of fighting, gore, and violence.

No dice. Nero is a failure, however you look at it. It's a (pricey) indie title, but nevertheless it's technically more than mediocre; gameplay and storytelling are trite and stale, and so are the puzzles. Nero is the Italian word for black, and this game truly gives the developers a black eye.

An interesting mix between SOTC and a souls-like game. Unfortunately, Titan Souls is very short and the checkpoint system is a little bit broken. "Prepare to die, minimal edition" could be the best quote to describe the game in a couple of words.

Battlefield Hardline should have restored the good name of the series, but it pays the piper for a production that needed more polish. The netcode for the multiplayer is OK and the battles are pretty fun, but everything here is pretty standard, and nothing really stands out.
