As a document of the series past, present and future, it stands tall, and will prove essential for many. But for those without access to online play, especially those players unconvinced by the almost monotonous pace that the main game develops, there may be few reasons to return.- Gamestyle

And when some players will struggle to overcome the Normal default difficulty at times, the opportunity to replenish health would have been welcome.- Gamestyle

The failure to pen an emotional and captivating storyline, alongside some bizarre character designs, have alienated what made Shadow Hearts such a joy to play.- Gamestyle

Burnout Revenge on the 360 retains all the fuel-injected fun from the original games, making a successful leap to the next-gen platforms. However, in all honesty it is hard to recommend the game to anyone who has played the game on Xbox or PS2, as aside from the admittedly minor tweaks and additions, it is the same game with shinier graphics.- Gamestyle

With a mostly competent online mode, and a lengthy and fun career, this really is the best (not to mention, only) boxing game for the Xbox 360.- Gamestyle

While it may lack the charm of Advance Wars and its complete appreciation of the format’s unique potential, there is much to overcome, saviour and keep you engaged until the next strategic release arrives.- Gamestyle

Sadly Drakengard 2 is a crushing disappointment, even to those that managed to tolerate the first instalment.- Gamestyle

Chibi Robo is a great little game, although can become more of a chore towards the end. Earning happy points for an essential upgrade to advance the story can feel slightly monotonous, and dulls the appeal of the first few hours of play slightly.- Gamestyle

Gamestyle can see the appeal that Curious George may have for very young gamers who are fans of the film or television series, but anyone else (or children who have grown up with gaming) will become bored very quickly.- Gamestyle

It's a perfect example of a lazily-produced game because the makers thought that the target audience wouldn't notice.- Gamestyle

It's innovate, it's fun and it shows real determination from Nintendo to show exactly what makes the DS stand out from the rest, and for that reason alone you should show your support. DS game of the year? No doubt. Electroplankton is simply an essential DS title.- Gamestyle

While it can be enjoyable at first, and certainly has some impressive graphics, it soon begins to reveal itself to be little more than an average title which only improves when played with other people.- Gamestyle

The single player is a phenomenal first-person shooter, standing firmly shoulder to soldier (sorry) with the best of the genre. However, its sorely under-developed multiplayer aspect has definitely let the side down, like a soldier who's lost his big toe in the war.- Gamestyle

Monolith resort to every trick in the book to scare and confuse players (along with cut sequences and voice direction that are professionally placed to enhance the experience). It's just a shame the developer couldn't expand upon the promise of forensic options and truly deliver something novel and terrifying.- Gamestyle

Longish load times aside, Project Gotham Racing 3 strikes an excellent balance between arcade and sim gameplay without alienating fans of either, and everyone - from Sunday drivers to Autobahn veterans - will find something to love here.- Gamestyle

The new direction taken by Amped 3 will not be to everyone's taste. Yet somehow this underdog has managed to dominate Gamestyle's available Xbox 360 playtime - leaving PGR3 trailing, PDZ quaking and Condemned hammered.- Gamestyle

Perhaps the first Sonic game that had Gamestyle reaching for the instruction manual. It starts a bit vague in regards to how it should be played, but it soon clicks into place.- Gamestyle

Real 'bullet-time' isn't ballet; it's no-holds carnage that ends with a radio-transmitted flatline. It's one man making a difference; it's one game making a noise. Half-Life 2 is all that - and more.- Gamestyle

Even with the tutorials WCP2 is still quite dense if you come to it as a poker virgin (there’s no glossary of terms, for example) and for that reason, along with the drab, sometimes thoughtless presentation and subsequent lack of glitz and glamour, WCP2 can be thought of as little more than above average.- Gamestyle

The Matrix: Path of Neo does have its moments - but these are limited by the restraints of the medium. In the trilogy, Neo could do almost anything, which included manipulation of time itself. Transferring these abilities in-game has been problematic, and the engine simply can't cope with all of Neo's talents.- Gamestyle

Although there are problems - for instance, the game is very short (it only took Gamestyle around seven hours) and the online co-op mode seems more like an added extra - we ultimately succumbed to its storybook charms.- Gamestyle

Success or failure in Metroid Prime Pinball is down to little more than what day of the week it is; what modicum of skill that actually makes a difference is frequently undone by chance. With such a randomly uncontrollable element to the proceedings, you'll find yourself thinking this is either a really good addictive game, or the most infuriating thing since those Michael Winner commercials.- Gamestyle
