The Legend of Korra is proof that everything Platinum touches doesn’t automatically turn to gold. An interesting combat system can’t contend with the utter mediocrity that is layered on top of it. Even Korra fans may find it difficult to get through the short playtime.

The motorcycle sections inject some much needed variety, with massive jumps and homing missiles to dispatch oncoming enemies with, but they get also get very repetitive very quickly, as it's just a straight rush from A to B while shooting or chaining enemies.

Once over the control issues there is a pretty decent game to be played. However, it is hard to get over the feeling that the game could have been better off removing the movement controls and having a story driven fully on-rails hack em up type game.

It'll need serious steroids and gym work before it can be considered a contender.

Ninja Reflex only feels like a third of what could have been a fun package. Even the kids will feel short-changed by the overall package, which despite some positives never warrants affiliation with the ninja.

Gamestyle can see the appeal that Curious George may have for very young gamers who are fans of the film or television series, but anyone else (or children who have grown up with gaming) will become bored very quickly.

While it does take advantage of the Wii remote to good effect, there is not enough variety in the game play to make for a swashbuckling experience.

Ordinary. That is pretty much the best way to describe this, it isn’t a bad game, but neither is it one that will live with you, you will play it, have moments of enjoyment and moments of annoyance, then at the end of the day, you will forget about it. It could have been so much more, but it just isn’t going to make any new fans of the genre, that is for certain.

This proves nothing is infallible, but for such a high profile release you do have to wonder how long this took to put together and why it shipped in such a state.

Pretty much a dire, tiresome experience with only one saving grace. The impressive strategy section and length of the empire mode soon give way to the abomination that are the battle confrontations. Leave it on the shelf where it belongs.

It's seeing how players make the most of such limited tools in a constrictive environment that hints at what could have been for Inversion.

However, it’s impossible to recommend to those who don’t have one of the DS games, and while die-hard Pokémaniacs will doubtless get some joy out of it, even they should avoid paying full-price for what is a somewhat limited expansion.

A far from perfect RPG, but one that fans of the genre will get some enjoyment for. Casuals really need not apply though.

Hysteria Hospital is a game with a good idea, but one that is poorly executed.

The camera system is utterly dreadful. If you can handle the camera and enjoyed the Terminator movies then Dawn of Fate will entertain you.

Beyond the use of sound effects and architecture as seen in the film this does rank as one of the poorest film licenses I have endured.

Overall Dash of Destruction is a pleasant enough detor that for younger gamers may prove to be more entertaining.

It is not something that we can recommend experiencing, as even for fans this instalment does little to push ahead or celebrate both games.

Eat Lead wants to be recognised as this post-modern mockery of all those big budget and casual games that sell rather well. But it’s not, it’s just some guy who thinks he’s rather clever, telling obvious jokes that everyone gets that got old two years ago.

Samurai Warriors 2 lacks the cutting edge Gamestyle was expecting and, for many out there, is an easy target to criticise. Improvements and new additions are recognised, but more work is necessary to revitalise the genre for a new generation.

The game features enough levels and unlockable extras to keep the player engrossed for a long time; so Barbie and horse fans alike - male and female, young and old - will all get something out of this.

There are many hours to be spent with R.A.W and the gameplay, along with the presentation and that certain feeling you get with looting make it an enjoyable experience, yet only when over a frustrating opening twenty minutes. So much so, that it is easy to dismiss the game early on. However to do so would rob you of a competent game that doesn't set the world alight, but does grow on you the longer you play.

That's the thing about Transformers: The Game, while there are bits and pieces of fun here and there, it's overshadowed by the complete and utter rushed and unfinished feel to everything else.

If you're a huge fan of Harry Potter and desperate for the latest game in the series, you're best going with the Wii version and avoid this mess.

SP:TR is not a bad game, but it also isn't good enough to be considered a classic either. It's so close to being a really enjoyable game, but the levels just aren't exciting enough to warrant making a player replay them over and over again. The story is good, and fans of South Park will enjoy it, but SP:TR has such a poor user interface that means that most gamers will not return once it's finished.

Rygar: The Battle of Argus should have been a challenging and thrilling Wii experience, if only more care and attention was put into the final package.

Over the Hedge is a game that could have very well changed our perception of what to expect in these kids' movie tie-ins; however, after a promising start, it soon became apparent that we were still heading into an average and linear experience, and that's ultimately all that's on offer here.

In the end, Urban Chaos is a beggar's banquet where good breeding (note: Mucky Foot is a splinter group borne of ex-Bullfrog employees) and redoubtable gameplay sit tastefully at the head of the table.
