I was most impressed that Legend of Grimrock treats its players seriously and as thinking beings - not as blunt consumers.- GameStar

A little more intelligent AI would have made the stealth and evasion exciting passages, taking somewhat more precise control of some frustrating moments. However, Warp is a nice game, everyone should try this one, especially since it only costs ten euros.- GameStar

Vessel annoyed me at first with the more sub-optimal control, but the more I've played, the more fun but I had it.- GameStar

The fusion of real-time strategy with tower defense rules works surprisingly well.- GameStar

Syndicate leaves me cold at almost all levels. And where it will not let me cold, it repels me.- GameStar

Indeed, it grieves me that Remedy has placed the survival horror passages comparatively unloving and exhausting in the game, but anger quickly fades behind the the fantastic story. Other developers may gladly follow its example.- GameStar

Compared to the ageless original, Back in Action is indeed not a milestone of the genre - but it's certainly a solid tactical game. Because the plan & go mode works, the selection of mercenaries and weapons is huge and I'm engaged for weeks with the liberation of Arulco.- GameStar

Insane 2 develops all his fun-potential only in multiplayer mode, at least in the abstract. De facto I detect a fellow player on the abandoned servers only in exceptional cases. My advice: Just organize a LAN party once again, as it used to be. Then Insane 2 becomes a guaranteed life of the party.- GameStar

Jenny's death in the first part of The Darkness is in my mind one of the most emotional moments of the shooter genre. All the better to think that this great story continues now – even though without a satisfactory conclusion...Apart from this, levelheadedly observed, there is not so much within The Darkness 2. The gameplay is repetitive, and there's not much of it. And yet the game entertained me in the short time very well.- GameStar

The battles feel like the ones from Darksiders, the dialogues remind of Bioware titles, and the world wants to be as big and multifarious as Skyrim. Reckoning gets this mixture just about right, but misses its evident types in any discipline. I had fun anyway, which is mainly due to the cool talent system and the fascinating tale. Whoever lets oneself into it, receives a successful action-role-playing game that has found its place exactly between linear story-nuggets (Dragon Age) and open-world adventures (Skyrim).- GameStar

I was so looking forward to the sequel of the surprise hit King Arthur, because the conditions were all present: a predecessor with awesome expandable ideas, a thought-out mix of RPG and strategy, nice-looking presentation, a fresh, well-formulated scenario and airworthy units, which are yet not overpowering. But what happens? Like so many other titles, King Arthur 2 releases in the market in a completely immature state. Persistent fans can take delight in playing it, but only with a stubborn will. But I'm tired of struggling through crashes, plot-stoppers and judder-performance. Actually, I appreciate Paradox as sympathetic niche publisher of games offside the mainstream. But nothing is squandered as fast as sympathy and confidence. So please, Paradox: from now on no more hasty reactions.- GameStar

Lucasarts has found a worthy heir: Daedalic from Germany. The game may deal with rubbish, dirt and crap, but there is only one word to describe Deponia: terrific!- GameStar
