Excellently playable survival horror that skillfully combines its fascinating (linear) plot with an open world.

This game is not for everybody. It's painfully unfair, has a unique graphics style and tells its story in windows full of text. But it's an unforgettable experience once you give it a chance.

It's more of the same but still better than the last episode, because Moai Better Blues offers more demanding riddles than its predecessor "Ice Station Santa" and the weirdest story since "Abe Lincoln must die". But it would be better still if it were at least as long as the other episodes. It's over far too soon.

Reneimal is a horror fairy tale that captivates with its atmosphere, but leaves much of its potential untapped in terms of puzzles and co-op play.

Playing cards, throwing dice, swinging pendulums and spanking villains: it's great fun if you can live with the random element of the game.

Behind all the action there's an amazingly large and deep game. Of course it's also possible to play it simple and concentrate on the main story, but if you start building your own weapons, it's even better.

An excellent football management sim, but it's lacking innovations of note.

It may not be as good as the predecessor, but it's still a good game that can glue you to your chair for more than 10 hours. Vin Diesels voice is a bit over the top this time, there's only so much coolness one can bear.

Oxenfree is a thrilling ghost story. Impatient gamers and action fans should stay away.

A huge universe, thrilling dogfights and interesting space ships - but the random missions and missing links to a story are disappointing.

Great graphics, breathtaking stunts and fantastic driving feel - Pure is the surprise hit of the year as far as racing games are concerned. It's a perfect blend of fun and action and looks fantastic. It's possible to create more than 60.000 different Quads out of components, so no Quad looks like the other in multiplayer games. There is no story at all, but it's the perfect casual game once you're done with the short career mode.

Not everything fits together perfectly in Expeditions: Rome. Nevertheless, it is a very good tactical role-playing game.

Less complex, but very demanding castle-building game that impresses above all else with its massive number of troop units.

Honkai: Star Rail is a Free2Play game that technically doesn't have to hide from AAA competitors and can offer you hours of enjoyment for free.

Tomb Raider: Underworld is a source of joy as long as everything works as intended and Lara follows the controls, leading the player to beautiful panoramas, seamlessly moving from gameplay to cut-scene. But at the same time, the game can be quite depressing if Lara doesn't reach moving platforms, the camera plays up and it's hard to solve a problem. It's an emotional roller coaster and great entertainment.

Crossing Russia by train amidst the chaos at the end of World War I: a powerful mix of survival, management and real-time tactics.

This game shows how beautiful two-dimensional games can be. Physics, graphics and music all have been created with affection. Trine could have been a bit more challenging and funny, but if you liked World of Goo, this is a game for you.
