Floating adrift in the middle of the Pacific would rival the entertainment value of this strategy-less strategy game.

Arctic Thunder is not fun. The gameplay is repetitive, and the game is easily one of the worst-looking PS2 games we've seen to date.

Sea Life Safari's on-rails adventuring is about as exciting as scuba diving in your own bathtub.

Too frustrating and convoluted for kids to have any fun with it, and all but the most desperate adult GameCube fans will find it tedious and unentertaining as well.

Its numerous bugs and linear missions make it frustrating to play, and the story never grabs you like a good sci-fi adventure should. Even the most devoted of Star Trek fans will be hard pressed to find something to like in Star Trek The Video Game: there are simply too many glaring problems.

Our biggest complaint with the PSP game was its lack of difficulty. That's been addressed to an extent in the Wii version of BMX Challenge--the increased dependence on trick points during race events adds some much-needed challenge to the game. Unfortunately, what's still missing is any sense of inspiration, authenticity, or fun in the game's extreme-sports approach.

The Nintendo DS rendition of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is a short collection of generic levels that hardly relate to the movie at all.

This is not even a good game for rabid fans, as they are the ones most likely to be offended by Polygon Magic's horrible whitewashing of their favorite fantasy.

Because of its confusing story, unappealing visuals, and counterintuitive controls, Konung ends up looking like a Diablo clone that hit the shelves four years too late. Even at the bargain-bin price of $20, it's not worth recommending Konung, because it simply isn't fun.
