As a follow-up, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 does manage to add the occasional extra twist, some tweaked timing, and a whole new round of puns but this enjoyable puzzle game doesn't add enough to the core gameplay to justify a sequel, however charming it is.- GameSpace

DOOM Eternal on Nintendo Switch is a mechanically smooth experience to play. Combat feels tight, controls are decent and it runs smoothly. It’s one of the most impressive shooters of this generation and the fact that I can play it on a handheld device is exceptionally impressive. However, all of this comes at the cost of visual fidelity which is both distracting and takes away from the game’s overall appeal.- GameSpace

Immortals: Fenyx Rising takes Ubisoft in a new direction, different from that of Assassin’s Creed. The game still utilizes an open-world, the way it goes about it is very different. While it doesn’t bring anything new or innovative to the table of action-adventures, Immortals is a short and charming colorful journey into Greek mythology.- GameSpace

Cyberpunk entices you to dive into a gorgeous new world, until you get up close and spot the imperfections. There’s a lot to like about Cybperunk 2077 and just as many problems with the way it’s been put together. For now, consider this purchase carefully if you're a console owner.- GameSpace

Chronos: Before the Ashes entails stalking through ancient corridors in alien worlds, and an innovative death mechanic, to boot. There are puzzles a-plenty, and boss fights, just as one would expect from an adventure like this. Nevertheless, Gunfire Games’ latest offering is an action RPG that forgets to deliver on the fun.- GameSpace

The region of Mt. Komorebi itself is a gorgeous addition to the world of The Sims 4, a miniature Japanese Winter Wonderland getaway for everyone stuck at home. Snowy Escape provides players with a way to forget about everyday worries and enjoy being social and carefree. And, with the addition of Sentiments and Lifestyles, it has never been more interesting and important to be social than it is in Mt. Komorebi.- GameSpace

Overall, my first impressions of this remaster is a good one and it just keeps getting better the more I play it. I have streamed it a couple of times not because tons of people have been watching but simply because I want to share my love for the game with others.- GameSpace

Never has fire been so fun to me. Wielding the elements, especially fire, to free your villagers has been pretty fun. Wildfire is a great game to play while on breaks from work.- GameSpace

Overall, WRC 9 is one of the most realistic racers that I have had the fortune of playing recently. It is full of great graphics and a level of realism I would want for many of my other games. Be careful as you drive down these back roads and paths as you race against the time of other drivers and have fun with it.- GameSpace

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla refined the new RPG formula started in Origins and improved in Odyssey. However, in an attempt to fix Odyssey’s shortcomings, the developers went too far to the opposite extreme in terms of progression. Despite it, the game remains a treat both for the old fans and the newcomers to the series, bringing along a great protagonist, fantastic - if sometimes incoherent - story, living open world and refined gameplay.- GameSpace

If you are looking for a small-sized game coming in at a whopping 400MB that can provide hours of enjoyment for you are even other guests, well this title is one that I would highly recommend. The price is also very reasonable $14.99. With smooth graphics and a wonderful ability to be picked up and played at any given time this makes Pure Pool a valued purchase.- GameSpace

Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition on the Nintendo Switch is a surprisingly pleasurable port of a rather hefty console game. Whether you're a dinosaur fan or not there is plenty of fun here for fans and newcomers to the sim genre. It would have been naive to not assume that the graphics would take some loss as compared to the more powerful competitor consoles. If you can live with that and the abundance of small text to be read then the tradeoffs are worth the portability.- GameSpace

The reward cosmetics in Phogs is fairly limited and much like the game, it’s a simple structure that doesn’t ask too much of its players. However, that criticism could even be levelled many classic games that we hold dear now. There’s a definite woof of Mario in the air when the Phogs wag their way out of the game’s central hubs, jump down a long slopey worm and fall into these themed challenges, and it seems like Bit Loom games have taken plenty of lessons from that genre classic while still remaining relevant.- GameSpace

SpellForce 3: Fallen God provides players with more SF3 goodness. The story, told from an unusual perspective, shows you a gripping tale of a dwindling tribe trying to survive as opposed to previous instances of Saving The World.- GameSpace

If you're a sentimental fan of G.I. Joe, then you are the most likely to truly enjoy this game. G.I. Joe fans will enjoy the characters, the things to collect, the Saturday morning cartoon-ish visuals, as well as the campy cartoony storyline. For all others, this will just come across as a run-of-the-mill third-person shooter game that will require some patience to find a control scheme setting you can work with.- GameSpace

The overzealous monetization aside, A3 is a solid mobile MMO, and for anybody looking for PvE progression, the mid-level dungeons available in A3 start to provide an acceptable level of difficulty and engaging combat mechanics. the difficulty A3 has is the number of sub systems that artificially increase the amount of time spent sorting your way through sub menus makes getting to dungeons something of a trial. Thankfully much of my complaints are mute in Battle Royale.- GameSpace

I was a bit disappointed with the ending because I think I was hoping that there was a twist or something more meaningful to find at the lodge. With that said, I still enjoyed the theme and gameplay and loved seeing how the relationships with the sled dogs played out and progressed on the journey.- GameSpace

Overall, I give a lot of credit to Netmarble for a very good RPG especially since it was originally designed for mobile and then had to be changed up to meet the needs of the traditional console game. I have enjoyed playing it for hours on end and it is worth every penny of the $19.99 USD that is being charged for it on the Switch. It is simple to learn and play through and fun for anyone who likes RPGs.- GameSpace

There's a lot to love about Ikenfell: its characters, charming narrative, and polished strategic combat all come together to create something truly unique and magical. While it calls on themes from other pop culture titles, the story within is all its own. Slow at first, Ikenfell's true narrative starts to unravel as you meet new friends and unlock clues behind Maritte's sister's disappearance. For $19.99, Ikenfell is well worth the price if you're a fan of pixel games with an inclusive storyline and a beautiful soundtrack.- GameSpace

Fuser is a game that, strangely, reminds me more of Occupy White Walls, than Rock Band. It’s a genre mashing experience that bursts out of the screen, borrowing ideas where ever it needs to but rarely confining itself to the preconceptions we might have from another rhythm game. Once you’ve pushed past the tutorials and evolved your own style, Fuser reveals it’s real intent, music. Fuser is the nearest Harmonix has come to present a title that is all about creating your own sound, stepping up on stage and discovering what works. As you master your art, Fuser rewards you with more than just cosmetics because it’s simply a joy to play. grab Fuser if you’re ready to fend off the dreary autumn blues with a burst of colour and a blast of bass to boot.- GameSpace

Since I have picked up this title and I have found it extremely hard to put down. I have even found myself removing my switch from its comfy home on the dock and taking the adventure with me to work. If you are looking for a mid-tier priced game at $24.99 that has a great atmosphere and offers several hours of gameplay, look no further.- GameSpace

Foregone is a solid offering. Combat, progression, and platforming are all fast, fluid, and engaging. What it lacks in fresh, original concepts and mechanics it makes up for a refined Metroidvania experience. If you are looking for a fun, engaging platformer with a good story and some refined mechanics, Foregone delivers.- GameSpace

Overall Fishing: North Atlantic should scratch any deep sea fishing simulator itch you may have. I felt the degree of difficulty was quite higher than I would have liked overall and the tutorial felt very bare-bones and could’ve done with more parts popping up as I acquired different gear or ships or crew, etc. I liked what I played, but felt it was made for those who enjoy harder sim type games.- GameSpace

I didn’t have the pleasure of playing Alwa’s Legacy’s title before this (Alwa’s Awakening), but I can say with confidence and un-tinted goggles, Alwa’s Legacy is a fantastic game that can be picked up regardless of your experience with the series. It has an exciting, challenging, and rewarding playstyle that’s accentuated by a beautifully crafted and nostalgic world. What more could you ask for? There’s just so much obvious love and care that has been poured into this game from its developers, and it really gives Alwa’s Legacy a glossy polish that is unfortunately missing from a lot of other metroidvania indie titles we see today. Would I recommend Alwa’s Legacy? Yes, a hundred times over, yes. It is fun from the very beginning to end, and invites you to explore the contents of its world without hand-holding or a curfew to pull you down.- GameSpace

Hammerting is a great concept that runs afoul of its status as an early access game. Although systems are largely in place, some more polish and a mountain load of content could put Hammerting on its way to be a masterpiece of dwarven craftmanship. [Early Access Provisional Score = 60]- GameSpace

My overall impression of The Adventures of Chris is very high. I love old-school platformers and there have been more of these popping up lately. They aren’t overly difficult or too easy to learn and play either. If you didn’t play games like this on Nintendo and Sega then you have no clue how hard games used to be compared to these. For $14.99 USD on Steam and Nintendo Switch, it is a bargain value for a good title. Have fun taking out giant spiders, bats, frogs, and other oversized creatures on your way to becoming the hero today.- GameSpace

If your fingers need a break from the shooter and platforming games and you have a flair for story-based, fantasy-filled role-playing games then you should take a look at Seers Isle. While considered a "game" it's clear that non-gaming young adult+ book readers can find something to enjoy here as well! What you'll find is a visually pleasing and interactive experience that can easily be enjoyed on the go. It's a "game" where your choices matter and they have a impact on the story's outcome. While relatively short, it encourages replaying through again where selecting different choices can reward you with multiple alternate endings!- GameSpace

If you're a fan of action RPGs, especially retro ones, then Ys Origin is worth your time to invest in. The action gameplay flows well and is quite rewarding. While the game is challenging it's not overly difficult. Your hero does seem powerful and that's a nice feeling. There's also plenty of environmental puzzles and platform jumping to break-up any monotony of button mashing. This one also plays extremely well in undocked mode and hist the mark of a great action RPG all around!- GameSpace
