OlliOlli: Switch Stance is a 2D skateboarding simulator that refuses to lie to its players. You will struggle and you will experience pain. It is going to be difficult, but if you can pull it off, it can be incredibly satisfying… even if the execution of such tricks involved a healthy heaping of dumb luck and/or divine intervention.- GameSpace

Rehydrated doesn’t offer up more than a few hours-worth of content to distract from the doldrum. It took me roughly 8 hours to beat the story, but it would probably take up to 12 to collect everything. If you’re looking for a new game to play in quarantine, this isn’t it. Despite the nostalgia, I honestly can’t recommend this game to anyone except for families with small children. There’s no penalty for dying, except for having to backtrack through areas, and the combat is simplistic enough that any kid will be able to pick it up easily. The good news is that SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is only $29.99. The bad news is that I still think that’s overpriced.- GameSpace

It’s getting a middling score, but I implore you: do not play this game. Do not encourage this lack of creativity with your money. At some point, we need to get off of this treadmill of worthless unartistic experiences and demand more. THKM is the perfect example of a treadmill game, a deja vu-inducing experience that means nothing. It’s a pretty love letter to a niche film genre, and that’s all it is. Maybe it’s not meant for us, but in that case, don’t make us play it. It feels like nothing, gives nothing, and doesn’t advance the form in any meaningful way. It rehashes concepts that have been rehashed since 2013.- GameSpace

Despite the positives, my lasting impression of FMT 2018 is of a rich, complex game that is utterly crippled by the user experience.- GameSpace

Masquerada starts out with promise. The art is bright and unique and the lore and battle system give off an aura of depth. There’s just not a lot behind that first look. The beautifully-drawn courtyards and dungeons are linear and restrictive. The lore is densely written, but digging in reveals a lack of soul and meaningful drama.- GameSpace

Warlords Awakening will appeal to a lot of people. The game isn't bad at all, it's just the repetitive nature of the game I dislike. If not for that, I could see myself playing it simply for the awesome combat offered. Be prepared, however, for a major grind.- GameSpace

Overall, this game lacks any specific direction beyond what you have to figure out for yourself. You get no introduction to the character or the situation they face. There are game breaking bugs and things that cause frustrations that make someone not want to play the game anymore. That being said, this game has good environments and music.- GameSpace

If you’re a fan of interpreting the meaning behind dreams or stories, or if you like the puzzle aspects in piecing together understanding from a hodgepodge of randomness, then you might really enjoy SELF. But I think there are better options for text-based adventure games out there on the Switch. For the 2-3 hours it took me to complete every ending I don’t feel like it’s worth the time or money that could otherwise be invested into other things. Although a lot of the Kafkaesque story beats, like the father-son relationship and the surreal, absurdist scenarios the boy found himself in, were unique and initially interesting; SELF just didn’t have the metamorphosis it needed to turn into something greater.- GameSpace

The whole time I was playing I felt the PC was the wrong platform for the game. While I don't see myself coming back over and over to play the game at home, it would be a fun game to have on a mobile device. My PC gaming time is spent on more substantial games, but the short levels of Juicy Realm could be played while out and about.- GameSpace

SuperMash is a unique concept – what do you get when you smush together two different genres of games? In this case, a mixed bag. SuperMash, a game where two of six classic console genres are combined for something new and different, comes across as a brilliant idea with mediocre implementation – with some revisions to and improvements of existing content, the experience could be much more enjoyable.- GameSpace

If knitting is something you personally like or have been waiting for a long time to see in The Sims series, you will love the pack. If you are more of a general Sims player and want to expand what the game allows you to do, you might be left disappointed by how niche the latest addition is.- GameSpace

I found the game very enjoyable in short game-play sessions. The drawn-out missions did play a part in the playability of the game but as luck would have it, I am such a huge Gundam fan I stuck with it. This title does feature Partial Controller support but as the interactions were limited, I found using the mouse and keyboard quicker and more fluid.- GameSpace

In general, I don’t mind new games that get inspiration from some of these older hits, as long as they find a way to improve upon their predecessors. Unfortunately, Riskers doesn’t pull this off. The open-world lacks the reckless abandon found in GTA, and the shooter missions are not up to par with the stylized graphics and pace of Hotline: Miami. If I didn’t have any prior knowledge of the games, I would swear GTA and Hotline were the evolution of Riskers, not the other way around.- GameSpace

AeternoBlade 2 is a continuance of AeternoBlade, an action time-puzzler by CORECELL Technology. This action-puzzle game implements multiple styles of combat with an interesting time manipulation mechanic. While the puzzles are mostly enjoyable, the combat is largely uninspired, leading to tedious boss encounters and aggravating 3D battles that quickly neutralizes the fantastic points of AeternoBlade 2's design.- GameSpace

Everything is for Humanity took many pieces from successful horror games, Everything Is For Humanity is far from the best first-person dating game in this genre. The game doesn't have the best use of horror, and by far the best animations it breaks the atmosphere. The game does not provide memorable moments that you will remember when it comes to the scariest game you have ever played...- GameSpace

Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.- GameSpace

Stranded Sails is the perfect game for those who enjoy learning and structured game play. I found every new discovery exciting, cooking food for my crew rewarding and fishing as always put me in my zen zone but unfortunately I did not get the adventuring survival I was hoping for which is a shame really because it is also obvious that a lot of hard work has gone into this title as a studio and I look forward to watching Lemondrop evolve.- GameSpace

The egregious monetization can't be overlooked in this game. Originally I was being lenient and choosing to simply ignore it but after playing the game for 10 hours it very quickly became clear this game is only interested in putting up as many obstacles as possible and selling you the solution to these problems. While it's true that a lot of these items can be earned in-game, they make it very clear that paying is the better option. Combine that with the simple and repetitive nature of the game and I can't honestly recommend this. As it's free though you have nothing to lose by trying it for yourself, just understand though what type of game you are getting yourself into.- GameSpace

The story of Doctor Who: Edge of Reality follows the classic canon of the series, developing very vigorously and featuring interesting plot twists and a stunning end. The game is worth playing through, but the number of bugs and glitches interfere with the enjoyment and can force you to restart your playthrough. The idea and certain features such as the mechanics of riddles, musical accompaniment, the story of a huge universe filled with detailed lore are amazing, but the realization leaves much to be desired.- GameSpace

The gameplay, art, and controls are all solid, the music is nice but an odd choice for a platformer, and the voice acting is good, but it’s largely marred by the mashup fanfic plot. I found a few bugs, and there was some lag in controls, but they were largely incidental, and to be expected in a small team game this soon out of Early Access. By and large, it’s an okay offering, but not 15$ okay.- GameSpace

I was able to beat this game in less than two hours. There is very little in the way of a story except for being a lonely Koala Bear looking for his mate. He is depressed most of the game and nothing good happens.- GameSpace

The game is clunky and frustrating. It provides some fun in estimating firing ranges for your tanks, but it makes that fun really hard to get to and loads it with the burdens of no tutorial, subpar UI, and frustrating movement mechanics. Whatever you’d come to this game looking for, it’s probably done better somewhere else.- GameSpace

One plus side of this release is that Skyforge is free to play! If you own a Nintendo Switch, there is absolutely no risk at all involved for you to jump in the game and try it out for yourself. I always highly encourage anyone who has even the slightest bit of interest to try it out for themselves. I will definitely be keeping my eye on Skyforge for the next few weeks to see whether or not they pull through on their end with fixes. If that happens, I would be more than happy to update this review with a newer article, score, and impressions. For now, I’ll just have to say goodbye to my beautiful wings and halo, and hang them up for a day when they can be utilized to their fullest without the constant crashing.- GameSpace

Steel Rats ultimately ends up being a good platforming game idea marred by unfortunate controls and physics, Combine that with a storyline that seems to be trying too hard to be taken seriously and you're left with almost no driving reason to play other than stubbornness, which does not really equate to fun.- GameSpace
