I simply wish the team had built a better game around the concept, or that someone had the foresight to release the game as a "budget" DLC title, instead of a $50 game.

Mindjack is an ingenuous bit of design that belongs in a much better game. With any luck, someone with a more spirited sense for how to build a shooter will steal the idea.

Unfortunately, as soon as the game starts to get your hopes up, there is always something-like the fact that you need to constantly manually save your progress since the game does not feature an autosave whatsoever- that rears its ugly head and immediately reminds you that sometimes you get what you pay for.

The main difference between this and Pokemon is that Pokemon doesn't suck as much. Game play in Digimon World 2 is the equivalent of a snail race.

It would be cool to have a Splinter Cell or Metal Gear type game on the GBA, but Mission: Impossible - Operation Surma isn't it. Decline the mission and disavow any knowledge of this game's existence.

EA’s "The Godfather" may not have been perfect, but it took typical gameplay elements, tweaked them in their own way, and made the game compelling in its storyline, graphics, and gameplay. The Sopranos got one out of three, and it isn’t the most important element, which is fun gameplay. This game sleeps with the fishes.

A slightly below average game with some okay fighting action, a nice arcade mode if you're playing co-op and some adult situations that sometimes cross the line into the land of overkill.

Between the camera and targeting woes, generally clunky gameplay, and a complete inability to capture the essence of what makes the G.I. Joe franchise fun and exciting in the first place—the game is a complete failure.

As with most games looking to cash in on whatever is popular at the moment, this game is just the same old song and dance.

The opening sequence is one of the most memorable in recent memory but it is almost as if the developers spent all of their creative energy on it leaving the rest of the game to degenerate into a bland, plot-less mess.

Despite the chaos you can create, everything happens at the same time for the same reasons. There will always be a cop car with its lights on at this corner; that boat will always be there at this time, etc.

This system is dead, and the best that you can hope for is a game that will keep your interest for a few hours, and D-Ball does it.

Thankfully, the game is nice and short. I know that when I put thirty bucks down for a game, four hours is right on the money as I have things to do, man. I'm like, important. Unfortunately that's still about three hours and fifty minutes longer than you'd want to play this game, but at least when you're done you can watch the interviews and look at the concept art, and maybe try and figure out how the concept art could look so good, but the game could be so bad.

But even the most generous, gameplay-not-graphics players will have a difficult time locating where the fun and value is in this title because it’s just so sloppily presented and at least ten years behind practically everything else on the market.

Its story is light-hearted and enjoyable; its music and setting feel spot-on; and the in-depth alchemy system is perfect for those who love to tinker around in their workshops. Still, it's a love of labor as much as it's a labor of love, and it's hard to feel like a lot more time was needed to fully optimize it for the PSP.

Duke is a nice trip down nostalgia lane if you have been missing Duke's smug face over the years and want to get reacquainted with the jeans wearing meathead but if you have already been there, there's really no real reason to return.

The good news for fans of this anime series about futuristic air boarding and mech combat is that there is actually a decent story being told this time around. The bad news for the rest of us is that the gameplay is simply average and not very compelling in the grand scheme of things.

Godzilla Unleashed lacks the vibrant, larger-than-life, destructive mayhem of other Godzilla titles, and there really aren't enough redeeming qualities otherwise to warrant a purchase…or even a rental.
