Though the game really tries for the over the top action of a summer blockbuster, it never comes close to that level of satisfaction. The gunplay feels like a chunky afterthought, and a cover system that very nearly causes more harm than good doesn’t help either.

Everything about this game, from the simplistic graphics and the incoherent story to the lack of a workable save system and the horrible hit detection speak to a rushed effort. Even the manual is filled with errors, with the table of contents pointing to sections that don’t exist.

If the game added a [few] more side missions that weren’t so repetitive, a lot less curing zombies and healing folks, and toned down the stereotyping racial humor, the game could have been fun to take a run through. Unfortunately, it’s the exact opposite of that.

Unfortunately, no matter how much you change his appearance or try to play up his role as King of Atlantis and his responsibility for patrolling the majority of the planet, Aquaman still sucks.

Misery may love company, but your company will hate you for inflicting this game upon them.

    AMY
Just a couple of button presses away from Amy on both the Xbox and PlayStation marketplaces is a little game called Resident Evil 4 that does this idea brilliantly with a girl named Ashley instead of Amy. Sure, it costs twice as much but you'll be buying and playing one of the best games ever made-not one of the worst.

Because of the technical ineptitude and the lousy level design, I can't recommend the game for those looking to have a good time with its mechanics. I suppose someone less desensitized could still find Postal III offensive in an enjoyable way, but the odds are if you've been through the previous games this will disappoint on that front as well.

A fun little game that combines a really bizarre topic with an interesting arcade shoot 'em up theme that ends up working very well. The game is a lot of fun and levels are light enough that one or two can easily be played in a ten minute lunch break.

In fact, what it really reminds me of is the pure, unadulterated, simplistic fun of "Tanarus." And if you know what "Tanarus" is, you’ll know exactly what I mean, and if you don’t go back to watching "Spongebob."

UBO makes for a great Hot Stove League game and I’m looking forward to playing it all winter long.

Ultimately My Sim Aquarium is a good diversion for youngsters that want to casually try their hand at taking care of fish. For adults the game may not be so fascinating.

A pretty solid PC game all around that I can’t find any major faults with, though two things I really would have liked to see would be support for higher screen resolutions (the maximum is 1280x960) and some better documentation, not only on the backstory, but also to provide a bit more information on the different weapon upgrades, and the enemy ship types you might encounter during a mission.

In the end RIP3 isn't the worst budget title ever to hit retail shelves (and the internet) but it certainly won't give gamers as much entertainment for their gaming dollar as it should.

At the end of the day, this latest Nicktoons game on the PS2 and Wii is good enough for its target audience and gets high marks for bringing these characters to life with decent voice acting, a fun story and some colorful worlds.

Absolute fanatics will undoubtedly get more out of the experience than casual gamers or puzzle game fans but even they will probably end up calling it quits before playing every game. It's a shame because successful game show games means we'll eventually get the Card Sharks game we so richly deserve, but for now, take a pass on this one and remember, to always spay and neuter your pets.

They won’t win a lot of prizes with these games, and Mosby’s Confederacy has many of the same problems that Hinterland has – some lack of clarity, repetitiveness, etc. But the strengths outweigh the weaknesses and Mosby’s is absolutely worth a close look.

War Plan Pacific is simply the latest wargame to demonstrate that the genre has moved well beyond the grognard mainstays of hexes and combat resolution tables. It is a quick playing and transparent game with an elegance that puts a lot of larger budget games to shame.

An ideal starter MMO for children, but challenging enough for adults. Kids will love the cute characters, colorful world, and grandiose combat animations (as well as the Potter-like setting) while their parents may be drawn to the Magic: The Gathering inspired combat card mechanic and online safety measures.

It's a shame that the DLC for such a great game had to leave on such a value-less note, but hey, if you haven't beaten the main game, unlimited rocket ammo may just be worth seven bucks.

I can tell the game is really trying hard to be something fantastic, and maybe for the Russian side of the market, that's how things have actually turned out. For us Americans however, I'd recommend taking the money you might spend on this game, and instead blowing it on an awesome discount joystick (if you don't have one already) and copies of Freespace 2 and the Independence War series. I guarantee you'll have a superior experience.

What we have here at the end of the day is a product that is light years beyond its predecessor, though it still can’t hold a candle to the infinitely superior EA Sports Active line.

Puzzle Chronicles certainly has its share of problems, mostly graphical in nature, but the new puzzle combat mechanic is interesting enough to rise above the issues and provide a puzzle combat experience of a decent length.

I hoped this game would be full of schlocky, 50's style monster movie fun but it ended up being a tedious, strategy-less brawler.

It certainly can't replace EA Sports Active, which has breadth and depth well beyond anything you'll see here, but Dance Workout is a fun, competent "supplementary" game that deserves a place in your digital exercise collection (that is, if you have one).
