An alternative to the legendary Pirates! could use its potential way better. Cool war multiplayer is present in this contradictory sailing game but a stereotype is also there in the moments, when no one is left to sink.

An unconventional journey into the city, where life stopped. The game is betting on melancholy and its pillars are built of a human despair. Like the previous games of The Chinese Room studios, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture won't suit everyone – but the chosen players will be very pleased, so they forgive the game its lazy pace.

Action RPG with an interesting tactical potential. Disastrously unconsidered design, however, drags the game into an average.

Warm atmosphere, imaginative environment and sympathetic character interactions. That and much more offers Anna's Quest – a new adventure with old, but mostly good manners.

Star Hammer has all the good components of a comprehensive and entertaining strategy, but its design is totally unsuitable for the overwhelming majority of missions, that appear later in the game. Hand in hand with bugs the originally entertaining small fleet commanding turns to unplayable piece.

Hit among the f2p strategies is definitely a qualitative leap forward and there's not a slightest reason, why not to give it a chance. But the incomplete design of the game suggests that perhaps developers themselves were surprised by the success of Fallout Shelter more than the players – as the game was just some side project.

The original rogue-like card game with unmistakable game mechanics and style, which may start to bore you after a while, but sooner or later you will return to it anyway.

The latest game from Haemimont Games is based on the tradition of Diablo and fulfills the requirements for the high-quality action RPG. It is unable to beat reigning Diablo, but the last Van Helsing was beaten easily.

All-polished platformer does not bring as much "wow" moments as we would have liked, nevertheless the game design is great and innovations show something new even to experienced gamers. In addition, the cotton visuals are irresistibly cute.

Red Solstice may look unattractive and the story is shallow but playability is great and it has the power to entertain also individual even with its focus on cooperative multiplayer.

Ronin is a refreshing platformer in where you utilize both the tactics and your quick hands. Unusual mix of a tensile action with platformer has a bit clumsy controls and some of its game rules are -at least- strange, yet you spend a great time with Ronin.

One half is just a stuffing, the other half is a very successful overture to the final episode. Next time it could be great.

Robust driving model, game content senselessly cut-off and barely average graphics make F1 2015 a particularly bitter pill. Shall we slap ourselves for hoping again? For the bold price you will get a bold disappointment, as they promised us the moon before. There is no reasonable excuse for this.

As if the developers realized, that even LEGO games need care and cannot be just spit out one after another. Therefore they slowed down, spent more time with everything in the game and the result is a game with amusing story and gameplay. LEGO Jurassic World simply runs like a Swiss watch.

Fun turn-based RPG revolves around the shooting of the 90-ties heroic series. The game is full of interesting ideas and small funny things, thanks to that the game looks very fresh, although otherwise it uses traditional scheme of RPG games.

Medieval RPG strategy, which is not exactly spotless, but under its spots the efficient and sturdy tactical core is hiding.

Although the ravages of time are evident on this version, additional adjustments of its gameplay get it on the top of the genre. The camera is irritating and the same we can say about the level design, we can hardly blame remaster for it. Moreover, it does not change anything on the fact; this is a must-have for all fans of the genre.

An average adventure game that doesn’t offend, but at the same time it doesn’t catch you. It holds together by everyday story and the main focus are purposeless puzzles without proper explanation.

First-class spy strategy, what is missing is just a few bits to be a perfect game: better style and narration more suitable for the replayability.

Milestone returns to the racing circuits in a solid shape. New MotoGP pleases with physics, maneuverability and admiration to a motorcycle history. The rest of the game, however, is -as usual- not dazzling.

The perfect collection of police cliches that entertains with its exaggeration and with grace admitting its sources of inspiration. Unfortunately, it is only a nice cover the core is missing. Despite its potential, the game offers just an average action entertainment, entertainment that vanishes with repeatable use of the same mechanics.

The third episode entertains again, but the series slightly loses its pace at the halfway mark - last time it was more fun. It is a wonder what great influence have your decisions from the previous part. Telltale is often not good in this stuff but this time the made a real fork in the story.

The attempt to diversify Batman's universe by using a controllable Batmobile paradoxically hurts the game by adding too exaggerated arcade action in it. In addition, the creators failed to find a sufficiently strong duo of bad guys after the Joker's death. Nevertheless, Arkham Knight is a dignified farewell to Gotham and an almost perfect action-adventure.

Splatoon is an original title that will delight first of all the players who do not play multiplayer shooters much. Experienced users should consider if the innovative concept is enough to accept insufficient number of maps and a certain imbalance in the game.

Simpler, faster and more accessible MOBA where someone actually thought about design beyond the point of “let's pimp up the 13-years-old fan mod”. Heroes of the Storm is not for everyone, but it will suit players who feel the genre is too complex, difficult and inaccessible. Blizzard actually succeeded in creating almost the exact opposite.

There are way too many 2D pixel art action games. One can both great and bad pieces among them as in any other genre. Not a Hero with its quick action and surprisingly robust tactical elements fortunately belongs into the first group.
