Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is, for better or worse, simply another Borderlands. Is that something you still crave, the simplistic gameplay and the irreverent humour? That’s for you to decide.- Games.cz

Say goodbye to Yagami, say hello to Kaito. There’s a new main character on the block and he’s going to fight. And explore the past. And solve crime. There’s really nothing new mechanically speaking but the story is very good - and that’s what counts here.- Games.cz

Weird West is indeed weird - it blends classic western together with the occult and creates a reactive, living world for you to explore and influence. Your actions sometimes indeed do have far-reaching consequences - and other times the system simply breaks. But the action is good if you get used to the cumbersome control scheme.- Games.cz

Patrick’s Parabox may not be the most original of video games but the way it borrows ideas and blends them together is simply exceptional. Its paradoxical puzzles will mangle your brain, the concept of applied infinity will stun you. Do you like Baba Is You? If so, play this and thank us later.- Games.cz

The quintessential Czech adventure game is back and it’s going relatively strong. Do you like the previous adventures of the goofy, silly sleuth? You’ll enjoy this one as well.- Games.cz

Coromon looks like a Game Boy Advance-era Pokémon title but it’s a bit more complicated than that. This is an accomplished JRPG all by itself which borrows a well-loved formula and sprinkles many of its own ideas into the mix. It’s just a shame that some of them don’t really fit.- Games.cz

This rogue-lite survival’s ideas definitely feel fresh - its mountain-climbing setting is imaginative and the atmosphere is gripping. It gets repetitive soon, though, and boredom becomes a scarier threat than an avalanche.- Games.cz

A great idea executed horribly. There’s no career mode and zero progression, no physics to speak of - and very soon it simply gets plain old boring. This game would feel old and half-baked 20 years ago.- Games.cz

H. P. Lovecraft made into a comic book made into a video game, a breathless shooter accompanied by an awesome metal soundtrack. The guns are fun and their upgrades interesting, there are two different playable characters - yes, there are also blemishes, but you definitely shouldn’t miss this indie FPS.- Games.cz

This could have been so much better. New Nintendo Sports title is “just” a bit of multiplayer fun with not enough disciplines to do the concept justice. There’s no career mode, additional content is locked behind a subscription. Still, it’s a brilliant game to whip out during a family gathering.- Games.cz

Bigger, prettier and filled with content to the brim, but also very simple and limited in what you can actually do - that is the new Skywalker Saga. If you love your Lego and a bit of accessible fun, this is just the game for you.- Games.cz

This quest for the future of a cursed Tokyo is unfortunately a little bland, accompanied by a silly story and a combat system that feels too easy. If you like your Japanese mythology and eastern religions, however, this might just end up being a real treat for you.- Games.cz

Rico: London would like to be a classic B-movie shooter, but its difficulty is all over the place, the repeating rooms are numbing and it’s all just very, very broken.- Games.cz

The environments are beautiful and varied, the combat is very well done and the PvE content is satisfying. But why would you lock it all behind daily limits and randomness?- Games.cz

A brilliant story driven JRPG with stylish graphics, an impressive combat system and an ideal difficulty level. The battles, the twists, your role in it all which can lead to several different endings - that’s what will keep you playing.- Games.cz

This is the fall of a giant. PlatinumGames, the masters of their craft, stumble and crash in this poor attempt at a live service game with passable combat and awful everything else.- Games.cz

An utterly conservative DLC with everything you’d expect including a lot of stuff to hoover from the map, a few new armours and weapons and an interesting addition in the form of draining special powers from enemies – which sounds great, but the game cannot really handle the implications. In summary, there’s so little creativity it hurts.- Games.cz

Syberia: The World Before doesn’t make the same mistakes as its awful predecessor. Good old mouse controls are back, as is the beautiful architecture and weird automatons the series became known for. The story takes a while to get going but once it does, it’s gripping.- Games.cz

Gran Turismo 7 keeps to old habits and doesn’t change very much, including graphics. Its automotive love will, however, send you careening back towards your childhood – you won’t stop until you collect every single beautiful car this game has to offer. And race with them, of course, because the driving model is joyous.- Games.cz

Martha Is Dead tells a wicked, confusing and thrilling story of death and plot twists. It’s a short psychological experience, visually stunning but maybe closer to an interactive movie than a true videogame.- Games.cz

Grid Legends is a unique racing game because it actually manages to tell a compelling story. All the rivalries and friendships manifest themselves on the racetrack. The racing itself is quite easy, however, and will not challenge anyone except the beginners.- Games.cz

Lo Wang’s return to glory is truly spectacular despite the fact that Shadow Warrior 3 is a shorter and simpler game than its predecessors. It’s lightning fast, brutal, funny and straightforward – the ultimate antidote for the never-ending open world craze.- Games.cz

Elex II is a second instalment we could live without. It’s still a solid RPG but once again too ambitious for its own good. It simply doesn’t bring as much joy as it could have.- Games.cz

Inspired by legendary RPGs and developers of yore, The Waylanders fails to honour them in any respect. Its story is as generic as they come, the characters completely inconsistent. The controls are clunky and some bugs prevent you from progressing. The combat system is fine, but that really cannot save this game from deserved oblivion.- Games.cz

This love letter to the JRPG genre looks beautiful and its combat is very well done. There are many problems, however – awful animation quality, a clumsily paced story, an empty world and cringey dialogue.- Games.cz

The crown jewel of the trilogy, fresh and creative. Evil is rising, Good is dying but the ingenious campaign structure ensures there’s fun to be had for everyone. Well, except those of you who really like bears.- Games.cz

What a strange and delightful game! You’ll spend many hours tending to weird plants and dealing with occult mysteries – and it works so very well. If, that is, you like your simulation games and don’t mind a bit of routine.- Games.cz
