After the FIFA 12 revolution we get finally this new installment with tuned-up innovations, that were previously semi-finished, and as a result we can play one hell of a football game. The newly release novelties and gaming modes improvement underline my words.

Doom Eternal doesn’t care about any modern-day shooter flourishes and instead puts all its demonic strength towards one goal: old-school heavy-metal thrashing.

A great arcade game with the perfectly right fun to challenge ratio. If you belong to the fans of Trials HD or to the little old Excitebike and you still don't have your own Joe Danger copy, then there's something wrong with you.

This excellent platformer is catchy and sticky. Gameplay is constantly evolving, so you do not have time to get bored. The visuals are great, the gameplay is great and to top it all off it has a great soundtrack. An absolute must-have for platformer fans, but not only for them.

Adventure of unusual style that excels with characters, script, the atmosphere, the style and even mini-games. Do not miss it especially if you love great stories.

Ori and the Blind Forest embodies the best of what platformers have learned in recent years. There was a connection between art, technology, great level design and nearly perfect entertainment in the game.

A great shooter that doesn’t push the boundaries of the genre and it won’t bring new players, but it is more or less a must-have for the fans of the genre.

Great action RPG combines elements of Dark Souls, Onimusha, Ninja Gaiden and Demon's Souls. It's challenging, but a fair-play game that all lovers of medieval Japan with its mythology and bizarre monsters will enjoy fully.

Galaxy Trucker is a great adaptation of an excellent board game, which attacks player’s every sense including vanity. It gives the player an opportunity to crush the other space captains and take the lead of the entire space fleet in an almost perfect space ship.

Halls of Torment is an addictive and entertaining bullet heaven that, while not groundbreaking and with a slower start, rewards players with a great atmosphere and a wealth of customization options for both the game and character playstyles. The items bring a fun twist, and over time, the reduction of randomness allows you to tackle the toughest challenges with an optimal build. Each arena is unique, and the heroes’ distinct base traits require specific strategies. All in all, it's another solid entry in the survivors genre.

The final chapters of the renowned series have never looked better. There are some mistakes, but the opulent movie-like spectacle will pull you in as assuredly now as in the past. It’s just a shame that PC users must take their first steps in the franchise at the very end of the story.

The fascinating adventure of futuristic Robinson in a fresh, colorful undersea world works great with its game mechanisms. Subnautica can literally grasp and hold a player and fulfill nearly every diver's wet dream. The modern classic of the genre has born, so you will easily forgive few technical issues.

Master Chief along with Cortana have returned in all their splendor proving all doubters have been wrong. The Halo series is stepping into a new era showing its great potential in single-player and multiplayer games. From a narration point of view this is not a masterpiece; however, the intensive game content makes it up to you. A pity there is not more of it in the single-player game.

Persona 3 Reload is an excellent remake of the cult JRPG that rewards the patient with compelling stories, engaging gameplay, and a detailed high school simulator. Despite pacing issues, Persona 3 Reload retains its stylish flair and serves as an excellent entry point for those who have been avoiding the series. Playing it is worthwhile, especially for its fantastic soundtrack.

The DC Comics top heroes break their noses in a grand show. NetherRealms improved not only the visuals but also the story, game mechanics and bonus content. The result is an almost universal combat game, which will please everyone, and will steal dozens or even hundreds of hours from your life.

An impressive sci-fi action game that stands out with its inventive fusion of shooting and hacking, a strong duo of likable characters, and top-tier audiovisual presentation that showcases Capcom’s flair for innovation and craftsmanship. An opulent blockbuster that, despite its relatively compact scope, never feels lacking in content or fun. Pragmata easily ranks among the most striking games in recent years.

The game's campaign is quite simple to no avail, and some features should be refreshed. However, underneath its puerile skin there are hidden the best executed Pokémons with their traditionally catchy gameplay, pleasing both young and mature gamers. There's no reason for fans of the series to be hesitant, and the rest of you should know the meaning of our number nine - one of the best RPGs of the year.

Sea of Stars is a heartfelt homage to classic JRPGs, and beyond its nostalgic appeal, it stands as a commendable game in its own right. It boasts a tightly woven linear narrative, endearing characters, and a sophisticated combat system. For enthusiasts of the JRPG genre, diving into the celestial sea of stars will be an unequivocal delight, but even if the genre doesn't typically captivate your interest, a hearty recommendation is still warranted. Brimming with emotional depth, oscillating between moments of joy and sorrow, and infused with a spirit of hope and adventure, this game is a must-try.

Roguelike genre, which is renowned for its difficulty, moves up an entire level with the Crypt of the NecroDancer. It offers a challenge that has the potential to plunge you into despair, even if you are familiar with such games. NecroDancer is cute, unforgiving and exotic in its own essence. You won't experience anything similar elsewhere. The question is, whether you're good enough to bear all the gifts this game offers you.

Max Payne 3 is one hell of a great shooter with modern day enhancements, still bringing the nostalgia into your eyes. Visually riveting game, whose style is going to knock you out with a little bit of tears leaving in your eyes. If you love the shooters, why are you still reading this? We haven't played something of this crystalline purity in a very long time.

It offers thrilling turn-based battles that make you think about every move and reconsider your party lineup in case of failure. Vengeance brings numerous improvements over the original fifth game, is available on platforms beyond the Switch, and is technically superior.

Basically, still the same game for twenty years, yet terribly catchy and entertaining – that’s the new Pokémon game. It is however a pity that the authors removed any challenge from story campaign, and that while some minor updates are welcome, other are rather annoying.
