Quite a funny story bonus to endless Assassin's Creed saga suffers mainly due to technical obsolescence and dev aversion to any significant changes. AC3 and AC4 fans are welcome - others can pass this one.

The lack of content is only but formidable flaw of otherwise very successful Truck Simulator.

An entertaining tycoon which has a trouble with the confused build-up and, above all, the confusing interface, which come up especially in later stages of the game. But its core is incredibly entertaining and carefully tuned.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is a meticulously crafted sequel with a fantastic soundtrack, excellent boss fights, and impressive enclosed locations that prove Retro Studios has not lost its craftsmanship. However, just as strongly as the game can amaze, it can also disappoint: the open desert with the motorcycle stretches the pacing in an unwelcome way, backtracking feels more exhausting than it used to, and after a seventeen-year wait, the amount of new ideas is noticeably smaller than the series deserves. Beyond therefore remains most appealing to long-time fans.

Witty and undemanding game where the right tactics wins over the simple mouse-clicking your opponent to death. If you like Rocky or Blood Sport movies, and somewhere deep inside you lies a desire to become a champion, you definitely have to play the Punch Club.

Dungeon Siege III has achieved the impossible – it has finally infiltrated consoles, which was a good move by itself. Otherwise it is solid action-based fun, even though we cannot get rid of a suspicion that the whole thing could be better. This applies especially to the PC version, which suffers from poor controls and user interface.

It takes a few chapters, but even if this horror is far from a true one, eventually, it is able to move you by its elegant action, and to impress you by some of its juicy moments. Roots cannot be renounced here, however, they are restraining it to no avail.

King's Bounty is The King's Bounty - the fast-paced turn-based strategy game with the funny story and hundreds of tactical options. For Might & Magic followers and for those seeking a good entertainment this game is a must, even though it's all the same as the previous installments.

Risen 2 is a good game. However, it would deserve more than just minor innovation inside antiquated gameplay. If you didn't expect anything out of Risen 2, you will be pleasantly surprised. The problem is you've been expecting.

This is a solid game, even though it’s not good looking at all and it borrows perhaps more than it should from its peers. The karikuri system is, however, a high point which the developers should accentuate even more in the future.

An escape from a prison can be quite a fun. The tactical strategy The Escapist is almost-perfect simulator of chronic runaway hero, and it is just up to the players to overcome their own resistance to the archaic look of the game and accept some of its controversial rules.

The Elder Scrolls Online is offering time-proven game mechanics that are functioning and frequently entertaining, while following tasks dipped in narrative gravy create the impression of a living virtual world. At the same time, however, TESO does not bring anything exceptional that would let you stared open-mouthed.

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles shouting the word defining - ease. It gives you neither a large, nor a small sandbox where you can devote yourself to different professions, uncover the secrets of the island, help local people ... But you do not have to do anything of it. Do not try this if you need a guiding hand. Enter if you are looking for relaxation, beauty and the absence of any kind of violence.

Every fan of the genre and of World War 2 should be excited about this very solid turn-based strategy. For everyone else, it’s “just” a very complex and difficult game.

Seven out of ten, barely. In the genre of narrative sandbox are now many better fresh games and I have no choice but to ask – has BioWare lost good writers, or does it hope that the players will simply be satisfied with a silly story and uninteresting characters, accompanied by a good combat system? For me, both options are quite sad.

The second instalment repeats what we’ve seen in the first one and does so successfully. There’s no hint of the original surprise, though. Are you a Netflix subscriber? Then this is a very nice bonus to all the TV shows.

For The Astronauts developers, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is not a victory, but neither is it a failure. Fans of the games like Dear Esther or Gone Home will very much like it, and if you take pleasure in beautiful graphics, you will purr with delight.

A small game, but a tricky and clever one that's been made by a video game industry legend who thinks he's still able to surprise you. He is, even though he makes mistakes sometimes.

A good comeback of the most popular gaming heroine ever. Tomb Raider is a pleasing and relaxing thing that is not going to bore you. However, this is not a game you are going to remember in a few months as a something special.

Mahokenshi doesn’t really challenge its competitors in the deckbuilding genre. There’s too many mistakes for that, including the story. You can, however, look forward to some truly original ideas and, in the end, to a good bit of fun. Not wonderful, not horrible. Wait for a discount or a Game Pass inclusion.

Halfway is not a complex game, but it is intense turn-based action from the depths of space. It is not original, nor sophisticated in terms of its combat system, but the atmosphere of the destroyed ship Goliath will surely appeal to you.

Hero of Many is both conceptually and substantively a simple game from the Czech meads and groves. Despite its fights between blacks and whites it excels in its non-violent nature, relaxing pace, and quality to tell a heartbreaking story through simple videos.

Farming Simulator 19 is… just another Farming Simulator game. Slight changes include new graphics, horses and John Deere machines. It’s still the best farming simulator around, with all the strengths and weaknesses of its predecessors, but you won’t miss much if you skip it.

Raw and inaccessible at first. This is a new dungeon from French Mana Games. But it also can motivate and entertain for hours. The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians will reward those who doesn´t give to a first impression with its unusual battle system and a typical dungeon gloom.

Detective Hayseed is a good old classic that relies on dubbing, goofy humor and absurd solutions of problems. Together it all works the way we are used to from previous installments, and maybe even a little better.

Considering the atmosphere and the story Distrain is a job well done – instead of ostentatious horror it scares mainly with its realism and spooky normality, wrapped in occasional psychedelia. From time to time I lacked the option to control the game with a mouse and some game mechanics could be more user-friendly. These minor flaws, however, do not change the fact, Distrain is very pleasant experience.

Solid, honest, and fun – but ultimately too straightforward for its own good, Commandos: Origins neither disgraces the series nor breathes new life into it. It sticks rigidly to the genre’s old-school roots without really trying to modernize or innovate. That nostalgic conservatism isn’t exactly a flaw, but it does mean the game fails to leave a lasting impression. You’ll have a good time sneaking through WWII battlefields, but chances are, you’ll forget the mission as soon as it’s over.

Spiky Snail's first work will wake up your brain cells, and if the game mechanics were more comprehensible and more straightforward, it could be an even more truly addicting game.
