F-Zero X is a terrific update of a classic game that deserves the attention of anyone who owns an N64.

When games such as this are developed with such style and elegance as Tenchu, this relatively new style of gameplay can be incredibly effective and enjoyable.

The extra touches, although subtle, are akin to the brushstrokes in a Leonardo Da' Vinci masterpiece. The touches on their own seem insignificant, but look at ISS'98 as a complete package, and it is an experience that can only be described as religious.

I SERIOUSLY hope that all you wonderful people out there work hard and want to produce competitive, innovative, and fun-to-play-itiive stuff one day. Not run-o'-the-mill, sloppy, choppy, moppy ol’ mediocre pooey. And hopefully not stuff like Mission: Impossible.

A breath of fresh air, a wonderful diversion, a good use of puzzle-solving energy. It’s like "Mario 64," but better. Any improvement over a game that got little but perfect ratings when it was released is an improvement to be applauded.

This game requires patience and practice - this may not make this such a great game for smaller kids or people who want to just get out there and race.

Forsaken is an excellent shoot 'em up.

There is a downside to the improved graphics. In some of the stages there is some slowdown and degradation of frame rate.

If you've the stomach for the Japanese silliness, there just might be something here for you. This game is not a true RPG however. Expect a quirky 3d platformer that is easy to play and surprisingly long.

While the package may not be quite as complete as that of Tekken 3, the things the game does well it does extremely well.

As unbelievable as it may sound, NFS III is every bit as good as "Gran Turismo"! The racing is just as good, even without the excellent "Gran Turismo" mode. I would even give NFS III the edge on graphics

Though the enemies aren't programmed well enough to follow you around many corners and elevators like they would in Turok or Bond, the surprises and just sheer craziness of attacking enemies makes Quake64 a game that freaks you out.

I can't recommend Yoshi's Story to anyone but the youngest of gamers.

The battles, the jobs, the graphics, and the extras make this a wonderful package.

Had the game lasted a little longer, and if the monsters had been a little more creative, this would be one of the best games ever made for the PSX.

This one is a clear winner, and well worth the hype. However, be warned, this game is as cute as it gets.

Takes everything that was good about the original game and adds a better variety of levels, vehicles, new weapons, and better graphics.

Gameplay is top notch. The ability to interact with the surroundings in an adventurous manner makes the game quite interesting.

You simply won't find a better space-shooter/sim on the market. This game's got it all: great plot, great missions, great sound and great fun! Psygnosis has got my vote for best PSX developer for 1997!

The music is incredible, catchy and well-written. But best of all, the concept is original.

Despite the problem of too much realism, I found that BB still keeps me playing. The relatively quick duels are addicting, even if many of them are determined by luck.

Whether it is the competitive edge in the one player mode it lacks, or the graphical style that has been employed - Extreme-G somehow doesn't beat "Wipeout 2097" in the entertainment stakes.

It doesn't really break any new ground, but it's very compulsive playing (it's got bags of that 'just one more go' syndrome) and it's just good fun to play.

Some of the best looking graphics and most involving storylines ever seen on a console.

Simply the most exciting and involving N64 game to date.

Bottom Line: Palm sweating in your face explosive action that will please both Rookie and Veteran flight sim pilots. Some of the most exciting and realistic dogfighting you'll ever experience in a PSX game. Ace Combat 2 contains the right mix of realism and arcade action to equal absolutely outstanding fun.

This game surpasses the 16 bit original in more ways than graphics. Overall, a strong game with some serious flaws.

Even considering the flaws, this game is simply a must have for almost any N64 owner. It is polished to near perfection.
