Lumines Plus is for those who enjoy a puzzle game with a pulse.

The most accessible F1 racing game to date.

A pretty short game and the gameplay that you do get isn’t very good. Spend your game playing time elsewhere unless you’re truly desperate for more Achievement points.

Once you master the controls you’ll enjoy the game for a while, but it will eventually you’ll find it hard to keep your interest in the game due in large part to the randomness of the tricks and the impossibly difficult to pull-off uber-tricks.

MLB 07 adds even more to the series’ traditionally strong network support. In addition to Infrastructure and Ad Hoc games and leagues, you can also pick up roster updates and MLB news. Perhaps the coolest thing here though is the real-time gamecast support that lets you follow games in progress. Talk about a baseball fan’s dream feature.

War Front: Turning Point won’t turn the RTS world on its ear, but if you’re looking for an RTS in the traditional mold you should take it for a spin.

If you’ve played the first three episodes, then by all means play Episode 4. It’s one of the better episodes in the series and will hopefully build some momentum for the series as it enters its final two episodes.

In spite of the “cutesy” appearance of a Disney game that’s too hard to play for the wee set, Disney Magic is a lot of fun to play. If you enjoyed Meteos, then you’ll like this variant on the game.

Supreme Commander’s enormous scale makes for some enormously exciting gameplay.

The potentially interesting aspects of the game have been completely buried under bloated and far too frequent conversations and mundane battles.

Alien Shooter Vengeance manages to make the whole scale slaughter of thousands of vicious aliens tedious and repetitive.

Stardock has managed to make a great game even better.

The multiplayer aspect is fairly average, but you’ll enjoy the single player game so much that you won’t care.

If you were to convert The Legend of Zelda into a platform game and threw in a dash of Hello Kitty cuteness, the result would look a lot like Gurumin.

MVP 07 NCAA Baseball steps up to the plate and hits a double – not as exciting as a homer but a solid hit nonetheless.

There’s plenty of great RPG action to be found in this galaxy.

Not a bad game, but not up to the usual Sam & Max standards.

At least another year away from a run at the championship.

If you have a high level character, it’s hard to find a reason for you not to buy The Burning Crusade. An entirely new continent filled with great content and with some really imaginative zones to explore make the expansion a must buy.

Lost Planet is more about style than it is about substance.

If you’ve ever wondered how you’d perform on American Idol but you just don’t have the stomach to face public humiliation, here’s the perfect chance for you to see how you’d do.

It plays a little shorter than Culture Shock and the puzzles are easier, but Situation Comedy is still chockfull of Sam and Max nutty goodness.

My dual sympathies go out to gamers who find themselves playing this short and dull game.

Ace in Action will keep kids occupied for a while, but there’s not quite enough to it to hold the interest of older gamers.

I can’t count myself as a fan of professional boxing, but I did find Fight Night 3 to be very enjoyable. I liked the challenge of needing to fight smart to win, and found that this made the game far more engaging to me than other fight games.

A good choice for those who like puzzle games that require you to use your reflexes along with your brains.

A little more challenge to the puzzles and a little less emphasis on realism in the physics department would have helped make RoboBlitz a better game.

It’s hard to recommend this game to anyone, even fans of the movie. You get six easy puzzles and six frustrating puzzles for your money, with no incentive to play through the game a second time. You’re better off simply watching the movie again to get your penguin fix.
