Pick up the game if you loved the original or have a thing for retro shooters, otherwise you'll probably want to stick to modern shooters to get the most play time bang for your buck.

The game is fun enough at its core to have made it very popular with the PC casual gamer crowd, but as an Xbox Live Arcade title it just falls short.

If you're one of the people who it does appeal to, get ready for a great ride and months of online play. These zombies don't quit, and you probably won't be able to either.

Overall, it's hard to say if LEGO Indiana Jones 2 is particularly recommendable. I doubt that anyone is dying for the chance to play through Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but it is cool to get locations from the original trilogy even if they are on the short side.

God of War and God of War II are gaming at its best and this collection is recommended to anyone who missed the games the first time around.

Star Trek DAC isn't great, but it isn't awful. It's fun, but only for a while.

Modern Warfare 2 is a complete package and one of those games you'll be playing for a long time to come. It's not only one of the best shooters of the year; it's one of the top shooters ever to appear on a console.

It's going to be tough for me to recommend AotS to anyone who isn't a die-hard Dragonball fan. Not because the game isn't good and enjoyable for fans and non-fans alike, as it is; no, I can't give this one my stamp of approval because it's 2009 and I'm flatly refusing to endorse any RPG that continues to cling to the random battle system.

This port isn't identical to its bigger brother, but it is damn close and that is commendable.

Dragon Age: Origins might have a few clichés here and there, but for those looking for a RPG to lose themselves in, you need not look any further. Dragon Age: Origins is a winner.

Overall, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is recommendable. In spite of the camera issues and frustrating and repetitive elements of the gameplay, it has enough going for it to make the overall experience fun. I think that I would have enjoyed the game more if it was all aerial and no platform, though.

I'm sure that some people will be disappointed to find that this Rock Band release features a relatively small track list, is missing some of the features found in other Rock Band games, and doesn't support the full catalog of downloadable tracks available for Rock Band.

And make no mistake – this is an impressive game from a lot of standpoints. It may have suffered a bit from the lack of hype leading up to its release and some not bad, but not exactly great gunplay, but C.O.P. is one of those games that people will still find themselves gushing about years from now.

If games were rated on story alone Dragon Age: Origins would sit at the top of the scale, but you simply can't ignore the gameplay issues.

The graphics are dated, the battles are like pulling teeth and while there is a lot to accomplish, none of it ever actually borders on being fun.

Overall Band Hero is a good game, as it's essentially Guitar Hero 5 with a different skin and track list.

Yet another effort to make music games portable fails to make the charts.

Need for Speed: Nitro is an arcade style racer that, while not too terribly deep, is worth a spin around the block.

Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis is a fun and interesting game, but unfortunately fails in several important categories. Although it’s technically sound, it loses serious points because of the same old story about the end of the world, but especially because the puzzles that defy the most elementary logic.

It's still GTA IV, but there's plenty that's new and plenty that’s fun to do. This is a ballad worth listening too...

Aside from a few slipups, it provides a fun, funny take on handheld squad games, and it does it with its tongue firmly in its cheek, in the best way possible.

DJ Hero makes you more of a mimic than a mix-master, but it's still fun to play.

A Crack in Time is simply fun to play. The puzzles are well-designed, the platforming fun without being frustrating, and the battles are a blast ... and it all takes place in a humorous and imaginative galaxy that's a joy to explore.

The moral of this fairytale is to avoid playing this game.

Some gamers may be disappointed to hear that there's no multiplayer option in the game, but there's so much fun to be had in the dark reaches under Torchlight that you won't really mind.

Unless you want your party to be a slumber party, let Vegas Party stay in Vegas.

It's hardly an 'elite' game, but it will keep the kiddies entertained for a bit.
