Pac-man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 is a chomp in the right direction for this new style of Pac-man platformer.

Almost a no-brainer if you have a lot of Rock Band 3 tracks, but the gameplay doesn't quite have that Rock Band magic.

Despite its scaled-back nature and too-late release on the PSP, Dante's Inferno is a pretty good action title with some over the top visuals and solid gameplay, even if it was late making it to the party.

There is enough variety to the missions that the game will keep you challenged to the end. If you're looking for a change of pace from your typical strategy game, give Emergency Fire Response a look.

While not being a nothing-but-net caliber game, NBA Live 08 does score after a couple of friendly bounces around the rim.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is a revitalization of a game that remains vivid, addictive, and comfortably familiar. While it lacks the immersive touch of something like Skyrim, The Witcher, or Fable, the split-up areas of the Faelands are still fun to explore. However, the main draw remains the irresistible combat, which has now been refined to its full glory. As such, this remaster is the definitive way to experience one of the very few action-RPGs that realizes the “action” part so phenomenally.

Fast and frantic action for the arcade shooter fan, but light on story and strategy. Its graphics are a step down from those of its PC-based predecessors.

Overall you get a lot of gameplay for a downloadable title, and even more so if you try to find all of the secrets and collectibles in each level. You're also getting the same basic gameplay that comes with the triple-A The New Order title, somewhat of a rarity in the downloadable shooter space.

Overall, the pace of the game is good and the story is compelling. I really connected with Lucy and was determined to help her solve the mystery of the forest, although towards the end I had a pretty good idea of where it was going. The rotating tile puzzle was a bit frustrating – it felt like a master level puzzle that should have been a single encounter near the end of the game and not something that had to be returned to throughout it. Also, the last part of the game drags on a bit, featuring a large, multi-location puzzle with a simple mechanic that requires a lot of backtracking and a mid-puzzle requirement that’s not at all obvious and needs to be found through trial-and-error. Also, there are four possible endings to the game, but the ending that you’ll see will be based entirely on which song you choose to sing during the game’s final interaction. Each ending will give you enough to go on so that the story reaches a conclusion and leaves some questions open-ended for you to ponder later – enough is left answered to leave room for a sequel, though. Unfortunately, the only way to see the other endings is to play through the game again.

I also found it strange that wherever Atsuma went there was always a cloud of dust at his feet. Not sure why this bothered me, but it did.

Traxxpad requires some commitment, so it's not for the casual user looking for a quick way to kick out some cool beats. If you're willing to commit to it, though, you'll find it to be a pretty powerful little music creation tool.

I had fun with Fortix 2, especially once I got past the midpoint of the game and the challenge ramped up. At its heart it's still a 1980s arcade game, and those games had a way of making relatively simple gameplay enjoyable. However, if those types of games aren't your thing you should probably pass on Fortix 2.

Ion Fury wears its clouded nostalgia lens and never takes them off. While newcomers to the 2.5D shooter sub-genre may be driven away, older gamers will adore this newest addition to the pantheon of great build engine games. With an electric drum 'n' bass score, some impressive cyberpunk locales, and some of the most memorable easter eggs I have come across, Ion Fury is a fast and furious shooter with a lot going for it.

So here's the deal: If you like sims and have the patience to let things run on their own for stretches of time, you'll probably enjoy Tropico. If you're a Tropico fan from the old days, expect more of the same except with prettier graphics and make your decision based on that. If you're the type of sim player that enjoys building large SimCity style metropolises, Tropico probably isn't for you as you won't be building any San Juans in the game. Lastly, for everyone else, the slow pace of the game and the time it takes to get a working economy will probably try your patience too much.

There is no doubt that MX vs. ATV: Reflex is the best MX vs. ATV game I've played yet. The new controls, track damage and add-ons to the existing formula make it the only MX vs. ATV game you'll ever need – at least until the next one comes out.
