There is a little too much variety for my taste, but there is a niche for everyone to find their comfort zone and stick to it for the next year to come.

Overall NFS doesn't break barriers but does have some good ideas that I think given some time to fully develop the social aspect of the game could really revitalize the series even more.

Even though the remake of RE3 trips a little during Jill's last escape, the game is still a fine retelling of a classic.

If you are an Attack on Titan fan, you should definitely check out Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle. If you never got the second game, you’ll get the most out of the full release. For those that already have Attack on Titan 2, the extra DLC is definitely worthwhile. The DLC itself is equal to the content of the first game, so it’s more than worth it. It’s very smart to release the next season of Attack on Titan in DLC form, since the second game really struggled with new content and the DLC adds to that rather than taking us through the full story again to get to the new plot points. If you don’t like the Attack on Titan games, this game will not change your mind since it is basically more of the same, but for those that did enjoy the past games, you will get the most out of this release.

Overall, 9 Monkeys of Shaolin is a very solid beat’em up. The only true flaw that I find is that, even with all the variety, the game can still get repetitive at times. It can feel a bit overwhelming once you start to unlock the modifier attacks because of all the different buttons you’ll be pressing, but there are combinations that seem to be the “go to” combinations for most battles – mainly hard-hitting armor breaking attacks. I definitely recommend this game to fans of beat’em ups or anyone that enjoys games that take place in ancient China (Dynasty Warriors fans!).

The Gardens Between's aesthetics make for a relaxing and enjoyable experience, albeit a rather short one. You can complete the game within two hours, and once you do there's not really any reason to go back and play it again. If the game were longer and the puzzles more challenging towards the end, it would be easy to recommend the game to puzzle game fans. If you're OK with the short length and approach the game as something that you'll enjoy a quiet evening playing and then move on, you'll probably enjoy the experience.

Overall, Kong Survivor Instinct is a fun and satisfying game. I must repeat, this game caught me off guard. I was not expecting such a greatly polished Metroidvania and Shadow Complex-style game out of this. If you like either type of game, be sure to check this game out. This game seems quite “under the radar”, but hopefully, more people will try it out and give it the attention it deserves. Fans of the Legendary’s Monsterverse definitely need to pick this one up.

Spellwood is an interesting take on the Scrabble formula, but the core gameplay is not significantly different from that of its source of inspiration.

Dread Nautical is a game that will submerge you in its creepy atmosphere and turn-based intensity. With plenty of colorful characters to recruit and an abundance of replayability, this is one ship that should not be abandoned.

Even though the gameplay concept is pretty basic, the challenge is not. If you’re expecting something akin to those simple mobile games featured in the ads that you see while playing other mobile games, you may find it frustrating that you can’t breeze your way through this game. If you like a little challenge, though, you’ll appreciate that there is actually a spot the differences game that will actually test your powers of observation a bit.

Even with the flaws that I mention, I feel the addictive combat and overall Suda51 wackiness far outweighs the negatives. I had a GREAT time with this game and look forward to more games by this developer in the future. This developer is such a great breath of fresh air with each one of their action titles. This title makes me want to go through and play the rest of the No More Heroes games.

Odium to the Core is certainly tough, but in a good way. The game never feels unfair and each death feels deserved. The game's presentation adds to the fun, with graphic novel style cel-shading using colors that really pop combined with an original D&B soundtrack with tracks crafted to fit each level. If you're easily frustrated, then you should avoid this game completely - I unlocked the achievement for 100 deaths faster than I'd care to admit. If you enjoy putting your skills to the test in simple but challenging arcade games, then you're going to love Odium to the Core.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 is the same Tiger from years past. If you don't already own a previous version then it's certainly worth a look. Those that already have a copy from the past few years would be better off passing until something dramatic happens to the series.

A fun and addicting arcade -racing game that fans of the series will enjoy, it’s just missing some key features that would make it a one of the series’ best, for that we’ll have to wait for the true sequel later this year.
