If this can even be called a game, it's a highly unusual one. Instead of doing missions and killing enemies you construct landscapes and battle for control over the always unpredictable elements brought to life by impressive physics.- Gamer.no

Rocksmith 2014 is hands down the best music game I have ever played. It turns honing skills and learning an instrument into an incredibly enjoyable game which constantly feeds you positive feedback. You'll be coming back again an again, not just to play your favorite songs, but also to jam around with the virtual band.- Gamer.no

Through its powerful trade leagues, exciting spy missions, the upgrade of naval mechanics and dangerous condottieri armies, Mare Nostrum attempts to pick up where the Romans left - and does so successfully.- Gamer.no

A charming and brilliantly restored JRPG gem, with one of the genre’s most inventive combat systems and a visual style that shines even brighter in its second life.- Gamer.no

The most complete and engaging game Supergiant has ever made. By playing with the genre the developers have found unique variations and solutions that almost makes it difficult to call this a roguelike.- Gamer.no

Finding Paradise is another well-told and profoundly meaningful story in the To The Moon saga. An amazing soundtrack, great artwork and clever, realistic writing all come together to bring this charming, touching and deeply human tale to life.- Gamer.no

A good and punishing rogue-like which is just as easy to hate as it is to love. As you explore the random levels this really challenging 2-D platformer will make you cry and laugh at the same time. You’ll need high concentration and a big chunk of patience to have fun with this one. Spelunky is just as fun on the PC as it was one year ago on the Xbox 360, and the gaming masochists’ very best friend.- Gamer.no

A difficult, but at the same time very rewarding rogue-like platformer. It won’t be the best choice of entertainment for the impatient or people who get easily frustrated, but if you like a challenge then you should definitely check out Rogue Legacy.- Gamer.no

Super Mario Odyssey is a joyous romp through the past, present and future of Mario's extensive history. The game is incredibly fun and charming, with interesting riddles and challenges at almost every turn. A few things could've been done a lot better (looking at you, motion controls and Broodals), but this is still a must-play for gamers of all ages and sizes.- Gamer.no

Proteus is a down-to-earth game about nature, in all it’s glory. Your first encounter with the island, it’s animalistic inhabitants and the living, breathing, musical atmosphere is sure to send chills down your spine, and the fact that the third visit manages to be just as exciting is a testament to Proteus’ greatness.- Gamer.no

Spelunky 2 is as brutally challenging as ever – sometimes to the point of exhaustion – but manages to keep the player engaged thanks to small but clever modernizations and the same incredibly creative universe.- Gamer.no

Horizon Zero Dawn takes the best traits of the open-world genre and melts them together into Guerrilla's own, polished and refreshing vision. The voice acting, nuanced character roster and many fun ways to approach combat makes this a game I’d gladly see become Sony's next big flagship franchise.- Gamer.no

The Last of Us Part II is just as good as the original. The writing is consistently great, making for a dark and deeply emotional story that paves the way for incredible character growth and tons of exciting stealth gameplay. Parts of the game could be more streamlined; looting tends to detract from the moment-to-moment drama; and the environments lack something in terms of variety, but almost everything else is really, really well made.- Gamer.no

Although it is a new game wrapped in old game mechanics, Diablo III stands out as an achievement in game craftsmanship. The shear brilliance, flow and amount of fun this game offers is nothing short of staggering.- Gamer.no

The Witcher 3 was already an incredible title to begin with, and with Blood and Wine it becomes even better. The new region of Toussaint does not simply bring us more of what made the original game so great, it expands on it and offers an environment and a plot line that - in some areas - exceeds that of the main entry.- Gamer.no

This role-playing game is unlike any other. The combat system is one of the best made in our collective history. And you will use it often in this charismatic world, as you take weird assignments from even stranger principals.- Gamer.no

Konami’s hard work has finally paid off. The gameplay feels more dynamic, precise and balanced than ever before. PES 2016 is a new high for the series, and is arguably the best football game of the year. Let’s hope for more of the same in the coming years.- Gamer.no

SOMA manages to be more than a horror game, through providing logical puzzles and a story that makes more sense, and packs more punch, than most in its genre. But most of all, it provides a haunting and delightfully uncomfortable atmosphere that really makes you feel as if you have the entire weight of the Atlantic on your shoulders.- Gamer.no

Guitar Hero Live is both modern and clever in its design, with cool FMV and a new guitar to bring the immersion to a whole new level. GHTV is a great new addition to the franchise, and with a long and varied song library to choose from you'll be hard pressed to not have a good time here.- Gamer.no

In the end it's the freedom of choice, and how those choices impact the world Obsidian has created that makes The Outer Worlds so great. You can be and act almost as you please, and do as little or as much for the people around you. Great writing, creative quest lines and solid voice acting makes the 40 hours a great experience.- Gamer.no

The Light Brigade is a great PlayStation VR2 game. Excellent shooting mechanics and roguelike elements make the game highly replayable, and unlocking new classes is always a thrill. The PS VR2 version does suffer from the occasional frame drop, but overall it's a smooth and well-crafted experience.- Gamer.no
