The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild surprises with its gorgeous visual effects, spectacular horizons and the vast freedom given to players. Sadly, the open world is often empty and soulless, lacking a proper soundtrack, characters or stories that make for a truly unique experience.- Gamer.no

Except for the Left Behind DLC, none of the other additions actually add to the experience. The game is just as good as it always has been, but with improved graphics being the only real selling point, the package is not enough for a second buy.- Gamer.no

The core mechanic from the original game is still there, but it feels more refined and polished than before. Though the amiibo integration feels like an after-thought it's still a fun party game to play with your friends.- Gamer.no

Despite its outdated and confounding design choices, there's something deeply engaging about Metaphor: ReFantazio. The story pulls you in and the combat is excellent, making for an experience that's highly enjoyable - though at times incredibly frustrating.- Gamer.no

By trying to please so many different players the game will probably not satisfy anyone completely. Resident Evil veterans will feel like it is a bit too simple and unfaithful. New players will wonder about the 90s logic in spending so much time looking for keys so you can politely unlock doors when your backpack is loaded with rocket launchers and oversized shotguns which could just as easily have blown them off their hinges.- Gamer.no

The whole game is over far too quickly, and the whole feels too fragmented and superficial to stand among the best. Aesthetically, the game is exceedingly interesting, but the interactions are somewhat trite. Still, its conceptual uniqueness makes it a game worth playing.- Gamer.no

It takes its time to get things going, and it shows its age in multiple areas, but when it all comes together it’s hard to put down Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition.- Gamer.no

Square Enix has worked wonders in porting this gorgeous game over to the Switch 2, with the lower resolution and frame rate the only noticeable downgrade. If you've been waiting to play this game on the go, now's the time to jump in and explore Midgar.- Gamer.no

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a spectacular game that could've been made even more spectacular if the combat was even remotely close to challenging.- Gamer.no

I'm sure this will be something very special for those who already love Pokémon and games like Animal Crossing and Dragon Quest Builders 2. But once the initial wow feeling is gone, there's little that makes me want to return to Pokopia.- Gamer.no

L.A. Noire does a lot of things right, and the fantastic facial animations alone make it worth a closer look. That being said, the game is not flawless, and there is quite a bit of work to do if there is to be a sequel.- Gamer.no

Dreams is wholly unique in that it gives the common player the tools to create virtually whatever they want. The unfortunate part is that the creations - at least so far and including the levels made by Media Molecule itself - are just not that fun to play. It will, however, be very exciting to see where this game will be in the upcoming months and years.- Gamer.no

Modern Warfare 3 doesn't reinvent gunpowder, but sticks to the recipe of the previous games in the series. With a decent story and good multiplayer it's a game worth playing, but the lack of willingness to add improvements in gameplay show a laziness often found in a complacent game series.- Gamer.no

Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart is a beautiful and action packed adventure, but which sadly leaves its characters' personalities and fun, snarky comments behind in favour of more shooting, strafing, and a more sanitized, Disney-like story.- Gamer.no

Horizon Forbidden West fails to live up to its predecessor in just about every way. While the world and its many new machines are stunning, the experience is bogged down with confusing design choices and variation for the sake of variation - making Aloy's newest adventure one to forget.- Gamer.no

Animal Crossing is as adorable and relaxing as ever to play, with calming visuals and a laid back musical score that really sets the tone. Your new job as town mayor and the tropical islands gives the game more progression and the player more things to do.- Gamer.no

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter might well prove to be the start of something great, but it's a pretty slow start. If you do have the patience to sit through the game's endless exposition, there's a colorful and charming world to explore and plenty of entertaining battles to be fought.- Gamer.no

The core story and the combat are fantastic, but it's a shame Square Enix felt the need to bloat the game with a ton of nonsensical new elements. Tone it down, not up.- Gamer.no

Dirt 3 is a good mixture of traditional rally and modern car sports like gymkhana. A distinct and good driving experience combined with great graphics and music, overshadows the lack of inspiration in the single player campaign, and make Dirt 3 a driving game petrolheads surely will enjoy.- Gamer.no

Immortality lacks the satisfying detective work found in Her Story and Telling Lies, instead opting for randomness and an almost complete lack of control as to what part of the game you're wanting to explore. The story itself is enjoyable to piece together, but finding each piece is a frustrating and deeply repetitive process.- Gamer.no

Tomb Raider is trying to tell Lara’s origin story in a mature fashion, and it somewhat succeeds by depicting the island as an organic living being, and making sure Lara is a believable character with great performances by actress Camilla Luddington. The rest of the game is less impressive, with the sheer amount of jarring enemies, stale combat and tacked on multiplayer.- Gamer.no

Call of Duty: Black Ops has a solid and fun multiplayer, and the best story in a Call of Duty-game yet. Despite this, it has got issues with arbitrary and unnecessary design. It isn´t as tight as its predecessor, and unless you are either not a fan of singleplayer story, og just plain tired of the multiplayer in Modern Warfare 2, the latter is still the better game.- Gamer.no

Tales of Arise is an experience with good sides and bad sides. On one hand it is a great adventure in expansive and gorgeous environments, with a stellar action oriented combat system that might be the series best one so far. On the other hand the story – while interesting – is told in a really frustrating manner, with way toO much dialogue that has no real place or purpose.- Gamer.no

2K Games delivers a new way of playing career mode. With a story directed by Spike Lee, NBA 2K16 makes you want to hate it and love it at the same time. The cliché story might be a little over the top, but the gameplay itself is still very strong, making it probably the best basketball game out there to date.- Gamer.no

Total War: Warhammer 2 is more spectacular than its predecessor, but fails to innovate when it comes to depth and strategy. The Vortex mechanic is wonderful and the factions diverse, but with the game's extreme dedication to fantasy, it might be a tough sell for the traditional fans of the series.- Gamer.no

Fall of the Samurai is a good expansion pack for one of the best strategy games of 2011. It gives a great history lesson about en epoch in japanese history the western hemisphere tend to forget. Furthermore, it is the first time the Total War franchise shows the staggering effect the industrial revolution had on military warfare - evolve or die.- Gamer.no
