Magna Carta 2 has potential, but doesn't use it properly. The battle system works well and with the real-time elements it shows JRPGs can be quick and action packed. It's sad the rest of the game doesn't match up with its characters, story and mission structure.

They managed to make a nice sequel to one of the better titles of the Sega Saturn. It looks great and the end battles are a joy to play. Too bad it's so short.

A fine puzzle game and inferior Portal-clone. It takes four hours to run through this fun experience.

Ghost Squad is a short and Arcady kind of shooter that is pretty nice. But the price is too high for the normal graphics and thin content.

It takes a little bit too long before Risen 2 becomes a game you'll actually love. The first five hours of the game didn't bode well for the rest of it, but those who persevere are treated to a very entertaining story and a deep leveling system with which you can give shape to your own class. De varied missions stay interesting throughout the game, but better artificial intelligence, a more striking balance and less bugs would have gone a long way for Risen 2: Dark Waters.

Operation Flashpoint: Red River doesn't play well on its own due to its bad AI. The online mode does offer a good experience, but isn't especially unique or amazing. The addition of a splitscreen-mode could've changed that, but Codemasters chose not to include such a thing.

This game is just more proof how LEGO-games really need to innovate. The Incredibles is not very challenging and the screen gets very chaotic often.

Alone in the Dark: Inferno is a cleaner version of the average horror game Alone in the Dark. It's a shame that the faults of the original are still partly in tact. It's more fun to play through, but for the second time the hype isn't justified.

Battlefield Heroes is obviously aimed at the casual gamer. It won't satisfy hardcore gamers as its simplicity and gameplay limitations cause a lot of frustration.

This game might be limited, but does feel like a thorough tactical sim. The space fights do not bore, and the campaign is nice and long.

Cobalt sometimes is a very entertaining action-platformer. You want to love it, but Cobalt comes with too much unmeant frustration to really deserve that love.

Knack 2 is a lot better than the original, but it still is a shallow, repetitive platformer.

Golf: Tee it Up on Xbox Live Arcade is a fun game which certainly deserves your attention. Although it only boasts two environments with eighteen holes each, the great playability and fun will make you come back for more. If you like golf, you should definitely give it a try.

Oninaki is a beautiful action RPG that offers an extraordinary story and great variety in playstyles. The gameplay does get a little repetitive towards the end.

The king of the motorsport makes a fine comeback. Thanks to the focus on arcade gameplay the game is fun to play, but the presentation is lacking and fans looking for realism should search for it elsewhere.

Dinos is a fun new game in the Buzz Junior franchise. Most mini-games have been seen before in a different setting, but it remains a friendly and complete product for kids to spend hours with. It is ideal for kid parties. The team mode is a valuable addition.

The tower of blocks that is Tumble VR is built on very unstable puzzles. If you keep on building, you will definitely find some beautiful things, but you might have stopped playing before that happens.

Tannenberg shows a good balance between historic realism and gameplay fun, but it feels a bit too light. The multiplayer shooter does not really innovate and its visuals are not amazing either.

Order of War offers enough challenge to satisfy the purists, but it’s also surprisingly inviting for newcomers. The World War II-setting is used very well and the cinematic perspective makes for a great addition. The graphics are disappointing though, and there are tons of little nags that start to irritate after some time.

Max is our hero, and he will stay our hero. The game world is convincing and that is important as it plays a big part in the story. The game has its flaws, but the atmosphere, the racing and fighting make up for that.

The Pikmin are as cute as ever, but this RTS does not really fit in 2D like this. Hey! Pikmin simply does not challenge the brain, which makes this spin-off just an easy to play platformer instead of something bigger.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 knows how to get us excited about the Olympic Games. The sports are not all worked out to the same extent, but the big variation in mini-games, wonderful story mode and pleasant 2D versions of certain sports provide enough entertainment.

At first, Turok places the player in a game with impressive atmosphere and basic but satisfying shoot-out moments. After cutting through another of those dinosaurs though, the feeling of repetition starts to kick in. In the end, the game restricts the player too much.

World of Warplanes is a very nice arcade flyer. It steers nicely, shoots nicely and dogfights are also, well, nice. Every awful pilot can play tens of heroic and enjoyable games. Unfortunately the game plays it very safe and doesn´t do anything that hasn´t been done before because of that.

Jack Keane is a good adventure game if you are looking for some nice puzzles to spend your time with. The game doesn't convince us when it comes to the character, because that's a thing in which adventure games should be the best. A big environment and hours of gameplay makes the game worth playing, but it really misses a soul.

FIFA Manager 13 is immensely complete and expansive. Almost all tasks related to a team can be undertaken, but you can also let your assistants do a lot of the work. Sloppy mistakes and somewhat unbelievable moments can drag you out of the experience unfortunately, which sometimes negates the feeling that you're an actual coach.
