Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros. doesn’t give the franchise a push in the right direction, but offers a promising platform for future installments; and obviously another insane adventure with tons of fun gameplay and humor.

Metal Gear Survive is a surprisingly entertaining survival sim. It can be frustrating, but then the sweet feeling of accomplishment is very awesome when things do work out the way you planned.

Briquid is a very decent puzzle-game, nothing more and nothing less. It mainly focuses on its challenging puzzles and presents those without too much flair. Briquid simply makes you think, instead of having to play Twister with your fingers, which is fun enough on its own.

Cosmophony is exactly what it promises to be: a darn difficult musical shooter with a good beat. It obviously is not a game for everyone, but the low price takes care of that; it cannot really be a waste of money that way.

Rain brings up the poet in you. With a beautiful soundtrack, refined story and a style that oozes beauty, it keeps you looking for a deeper meaning. That makes for an intriguing experience, although the stylish bubble has a tendency of breaking and the simple gameplay becomes an obstacle.

World of Warplanes is a very nice arcade flyer. It steers nicely, shoots nicely and dogfights are also, well, nice. Every awful pilot can play tens of heroic and enjoyable games. Unfortunately the game plays it very safe and doesn´t do anything that hasn´t been done before because of that.

A ballet of violence, that is what Not A Hero offers. If it works, it feels like magic, but it is too bad that the fun violent gameplay gets interrupted by slower and more boring moments.

Road to Gehenna is a nice games: the puzzles are good and the story is interesting. However, the fact that this add-on does not continue where the original game started, is a let-down.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars! is again a Lemmings - like game from Nintendo, but it adds cross-buy, a level editor and online functionalities. The solid puzzle game franchise is a bit more modern that way, but the additions are not really inventive.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 knows how to get us excited about the Olympic Games. The sports are not all worked out to the same extent, but the big variation in mini-games, wonderful story mode and pleasant 2D versions of certain sports provide enough entertainment.

There are enough reasons to consider purchasing F1 2013. The Formula 1 cars control better than in previous installments and thanks to new modes there are easier ways to get into some action quickly. Unfortunately it feels kind of dated on an audiovisual level. Having to pay extra for classic content isn’t modern either.

Again, Farming Simulator 15 is an excellent sim that offers a lot of content at a pretty high quality. The makers do need to step it up a bit when it comes to certain elements.

Trine 2 is what the original should have been. The world looks like a fairytale come to life, puzzles are more original and the online mode is a logical addition. But thanks to the lack of new gameplay elements, Trine 2 often feels like a polished version of the original.

Stray knows how to depict the life and movements of a cat like no other game. The robot city your kitty gets lost in is a joy to explore. Disappointing sections with mediocre gameplay, however, are a black mark in this beautiful cat coat.

Starcraft: Remastered does what many remasters promise to do: relive the old days, without offering the disappointments of and old game. The looks and sounds are much better now and the gameplay is still great.

Paper Beast is a wondrous game. The paper animals all behave in their own ways, and the setup of this game is both confusing and intuitive. It's just like a dream.

The Jackbox Party Pack is available on smartphones and tablets which makes it a great partygame. The hyperactive quiz You don't know Jack, the lyin ggame Fibbage XL and the artsy Drawful are our favorites in this surprisingly good pack.

This is a classic Kirby-platformer: Kirby sucks its opponents into his little pink belly and takes over their abilities. Easy as can be, but fun for the youngsters.

Lego Horizon Adventures is a new Lego success story, especially when played with a co-op partner. The game excels in its small-scale approach, and the humor and characters don't get old quickly. As a result, Horizon has become even more accessible, although this also means the gameplay isn't particularly deep.

There is only one reason to play Mario Tennis Aces: it's versatile gameplay. If you do not consider playing this game online or co-op on your couch, you'd have to reconsider buying it. This really is made to be competitive.

The Night of the Rabbit is a special point-and-click adventure game, although only the veterans amongst players will get to see that side of the game. Not because of the flipped, tricky puzzles, because those are known to the genre. But mostly because game makes a wrong, childish impression in its first hours. It's hard to expect a beautiful and exciting fable after such a start.

At this moment, this might be the best version of State of Decay, but it is definitely not the best version we can think of. The game still is very buggy and there is still no co-op mode. We still love this deep zombie survival game, but it simply could have been so much more.

Nova-111 tries to do something new and succeeds. The combination of slowly planning in turn-based combat and quick actions in real-time is a real brain challenge in a very unique way.
