There's little to complain about here. The singleplayer, multiplayer and zombie-mode ensure you won't be able to put down your controller for a long time to come. Black Ops isn't just a great game, it's a great Call of Duty. A bigger compliment can't be given to Treyarch.

This world is made to challenge the player and make the player feel proud. That works well on this island full of puzzles, which uses riddles to form an interesting story.

Towerfall Ascension uses many known game formula's and molds it into a hectic and entertaining whole. It's just a shame that you're forced to play offline.

Icebreaker breaks the ice for Rovio Stars. Its fundamentals are not unlike Angry Birds and Bad Piggies, which come with wildly addicting and easy to get into puzzle gameplay in Icebreaker. But Viking Voyage is more complete and diverse than those games, because it manages to surprise with new puzzle concepts again and again, even though it's so recognizable.

Tearaway flourishes because of the Vita's control option. They guarantee a good platformer that'll let you reshape and destroy the environment by touching it.

Psychonauts 2 may not be the most brilliant platformer ever, but just like the first part, this adventure is bursting with clever inventions and creativity. The forays into the inside of the brain are not only funny and original, but are always linked to the intriguing main story in surprising ways. The extensive cast of colorful characters and the game world filled with extras do the rest of the work. After a long wait, Psychonauts has finally received a worthy sequel.

FIFA 14 is a great soccer game, and this goes for the new versions as well. Not only is it prettier, but it plays better. EA doesn't do away with existing issues though.

Hyrule is a world where you want to be in. It’s so beautiful, with countless interesting people and exciting dungeons. So it’s no surprise that playing Spirit Tracks is truly a pleasure. The fighting, riding the train or solving puzzles: it’s all great to do. Spirit Tracks is a fantastic new addition to the series.

Dirt 2 looked like it was becoming a pimped out version of the first game, with emphasis on the spectacle. But Codemasters once again delivers a formidable racer. Great graphics combined with challenging gameplay and an excellent racing experience make Dirt 2 a worthy successor.

Although it's a remake of a 2003 game, it is well-done. The added multiplayer is a real treat and its charm is everlasting.

Pokémon SoulSilver and HeartGold are good role playing games. Only the lack of originality will offend some players. In the end, these remakes are pretty much the best and most balanced Pokémon-games out there.

Reaper of Souls is actually the patch that fans have been waiting for since they first finished Diablo 3. Despite it only has one new chapter, it's been filled to the brim with cool new elements. Its trump card is Adventure Mode: a well executed remix of the existing content that makes replaying the levels feel fresh and useful.

Beautiful graphics, well thought through humour and addictive gameplay that will offer hours and hours of gameplay. That's what you'll get if you buy Little King's Story. It's a mystery why you can't point your Wiimote and give a character a simple order, but in the end the game will even put a smile on the face of the biggest sourpuss.

Pro Evo 2016 is without a doubt the best soccer simulator we have ever played. That special feeling you get when playing soccer, is exactly what you will get when playing this game. The menu's are a bit messy, but even so this game deserves to be in your collection.

Rayman goes from 3D to 2D but gains charm and quality in the progress. The hand-drawn levels are beautiful and well animated, the music has rhythm that compliments the gameplay and playing the game with two, three or four players is hectic in a good way.

Developer Game Freak shows with Pokémon Black & White that they can appeal to the veteran as well as the starting Pokémon trainer. Although the game is way too easy for the veteran Pokémon trainer, it does offer completely new and beautifully crafted environments, with an overload of new Pokémon, techniques, strategies and the triple battles are a valuable addition to the game. But because they're still too basic, Black & White aren't better than Diamond & Pearl.

Mass Effect's Legendary Edition lovingly puts three of the best games ever back in the spotlight. That is actually enough reason to recommend this package, but it still feels as if Bioware is missing out on opportunities to turn out really big.

Wipeout HD is the new definition of HD gaming. The high quality of detail and coolness seems to drip of your screen. And the best part is that the gameplay doesn't even suffer from all of this. Only renewal is something that you won't get for the asking price of Wipeout HD.

The classic RPG is making a comeback. After Shadowrun and Wasteland 2, this time it’s Divinity: Original Sin’s turn. This Kickstarter project from Belgium shows how fantasy elements can be used to their fullest extent. These developers understand what’s so great about magic and discovering a world. This is a tribute to the best Bioware, Obsidian, and D&D games that were produced with pen and paper over the last thirty years, had to offer.

The best lightgun-shooter on the Wii, and that's saying a lot. The graphics are a little dated, even for the Wii, but the gameplay is all the more satisfying. Hardcore gamers who want to perfect their high scores might be offended by the long levels, but everyone else will really enjoy themselves here.

You'll curse Spelunky, you'll want to throw your controller through the TV out of anger, but there is something about it that will pull you back in, time and time again. The game challenges you to constantly make choices and set new priorities, the level design is fantastic and makes for a new experience every time, but most of all: skill and perseverance get rewarded. Spelunky might seem a little bit unfair at times, but with every death it teaches you a lesson. Lose yourself in the wondrous, underground world and emerge as a better player.

Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin is way more than just a re-release. The content is surprising and it has changed a lot, may be a bit too much. But this release offers a great opportunity to experience Dark Souls 2 once more on current-gen consoles.

We use the word Epic a lot in our reviews and that is simply the best description that we can give for most of the scenes in Resistance 2. On the outside, the game isn't the best you can get nowadays, but thankfully the main focus of the developer wasn't the engine. Instead they made a epic ten hour lasting singleplayer adventure, an interesting multiplayer and a co-op mode. The sheer amount of players than can battle each other in either one of the two multiplayer modes has never been seen before on a console and will make the game even last longer.

Flower is a more than welcome addition to the PlayStation Store with a truly unique type of gameplay. This, in combination with a very artistic environment and a easy to learn control scheme, make of Flower almost a magical game. After completing the seven levels the only thing that remains is the need for more.
