Being able to finally play God of War on PC is mighty, but select choices make it seem like Kratos is begrudgingly lent. Technically speaking, the port is quite successful, but it won't do anything more than what is strictly necessary. Today's PCs can do so much more - think of a generous photo mode or broader control options - but apart from a few visual adjustments, a lot of potential for an exemplary port is eluded.

Knights of Pen and Paper is being praised as a pocket sized Dungeons & Dragons-simulator. Because of the indie-spirit, many geeky references and addicting gameplay you might actually start to believe it. But then you’d be fooling yourself and you’re missing the essence of role playing games. This is a grinding simulator, not a night of D&D.

It looks nice, but that's it. This is a bland fighting game that disappoints in both single player and multiplayer mode.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is obviously not a full-fledged Mario Kart game. What it does offer is a special experience that feels very familiar to Mario Kart fans while being incredibly ingenious at the same time.

Free Time is so uninspiring compared to some other Sims add-ons. The combination of developing your hobbies, making a career and maintaining your Sims is a difficult one. The add-on adds little to the concept. Only for Sims-addicts.

Be careful what you wish for. Everyone who wondered why ModNation Racers wasn't a LittleBigPlanet game to begin with, gets an answer. LittleBigPlanet Karting misses a lot of the elements present in ModNation Racers, a few of which are spunk, depth, well implemented social elements and well-built editors for karts and racers. Even the narration of Stephen Fry can't save this disaster.

Even in this remaster, Beyond still offers shallow gameplay and a storyline that simply does not excite us. No matter how you look at it (from a movie or a game perspective), this is a big fail.

The technology works better than expected and shows that besides powerful hardware also other aspects are important for a pleasant VR experience, which Nintendo understands well.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed could have been a great game, however it doesn't live up to its premise. The story and physics give a new dimension to the Star Wars franchise, but the countless technical glitches and shallow gameplay make this game a huge diasppointment that's not worth your money.

Castle of Illusion is badly made, and not a very good game in and of itself. This remake has no right to exist whatsoever and is better off forgotten.

Boom Beach is a time management app with funny pictures and a light atmosphere. You can't call it a game though, because it lacks any fun, whatsoever. There are numerous good free-to-play games. Boom Beach isn't one of them.

When a succesfull game is ported to a different platform it doesn't necessarily means that it's going to work. Especially with a game like the Buzz! series. Ment to be a party game, there is not mucht left to party on a PSP when you're all by yourself. And handing over your PSP in the multiplayer modus isn't going to fix that. This Buzz is going out with a sizzle.

A breakdancing rhythm game without any gimmick to make it stand out from the Guitar Heroes and Rock Bands of this generation. The strange thing is, the button presses you have to perform are not in line with the rhythm at all! A low difficulty, even lower satisfaction level. Do yourself a favor and let this one pass.

Just Cause is a mess. It stutters, it crashed, the AI is broken and the new system of frontlines is taking away important things we love about Just Cause. They shouldn't have gone with missions, but instead with more freedom.

Had the Playstation 3 version of Lost Planet been released as a launch game of the console, it would probably have gotten less critisism. In the meantime many better games have passed it by, which makes this one just another shooter. No one will get sleepless nights from this title.

The first Still Life was a breath of fresh air in the old adventure genre, but the second game is a mess. The story has no tension, puzzles are confusing, the menus are disorienting and the game suffers from bad animation and terrible voice acting.

Universe at War: Earth Assault is a bad game, just as simple as that. The controls work, but the framerate and camera ruin the party. So again we keep waiting for a good strategy game on the console.

Wolfenstein 3D gave birth to the first person shooter genre, but failed to deliver a great game. The remake offers, at most, a little hint of nostalgia and some form of history lessons, but can't hide the fact that the game nowadays isn't fun enough to actually pay for it. And besides that, there are plenty of good alternatives.

Angry Birds 2 shows everything that is wrong with free-to-play. The game balance is weaker, the boosters make the app pay-to-play and the independence on luck makes it impossible to play this game strategically.

Too Human wants to be everything, but ends up being nothing. Buggy controls and no challenge whatsoever take out a lot of the fun. And fun is why whe play games. For an action RPG the game lacks any form of RPG depth and the action part isn't strong enough to carry the game. What remains is a dull and tedious game of killing monsters. Too Human lacks any humanity.

The series had some good games but this latest addition doesn't convince us. The storyline and fighting are simply poor. The movements just aren't right. The developers probably had good idea, we just don't see them in-game.

A new Tour de France, a new Pro Cycling Manager 2013. It almost seems to be a copy of the previous game. And a copy of the one that came out before that, with the footnote that it has a few very nasty bugs. Hopefully Cyanide understands that they will have to go all out next year.

War for the Overworld was supposed to be the new Dungeon Keeper. They were on the right track, but the game that is available for download now is definitely not right; lots of bugs, crashes, bad AI, and many missing features make this game impossible to recommend.

Worms: A Space Oddity is another uninspired game which brings nothing new to the series. The special Wii-controls to use weapons is funny, but also very gimmicky. Besides that the space theme brings absolutely nothing special, unless you've always wanted to blow up blue worms.

3 on 3 NHL Arcade is not a very bad game, but lacks some fundamental gameplay elements. The controls are, in combination with the specific type of gameplay, far from practical. On top of that, the idea of being a funny game never quite makes it with the decent look. What remains is the question: What did EA Canada had in mind when they made this game? Whatever the answer may be, it won't be enough to salvage this title.

This version of Ghostbusters is a poor port of the Wii version with a plethora of technical and gameplay issues. Fans are better off picking up the game on the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3.
