We like Namco's idea of remixing their classic arcade games and switching up the rules. But while Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is one of our favorites, Galaga fails to capture the same magic, as what's on offer simply isn't fun enough in the long run.

A decent platformer that does its best to utilize the license. Worth getting if you're still in need of more Captain America after going to the movies, and have already played the iOS version of Mirror's Edge.

Kill Team is not a bad game, but it's also one that never really shines. Unless you're a die hard WH40K fan, or are in desperate need of some local multiplayer action, you can safely skip this.

Arkalis Interactive is trying to do what Telltale Games did with The Walking Dead: provide episodic content on a well known TV-series. While they do a fine job in delivering atmosphere, stealth missions and action, the game seems a bit lacking in gameplay and depth. With a little less than two hours of gaming and a lot of repetition the gamer ends up with an experience that seem too shallow. Fans of SG-1 will surely get a kick out of hearing the original voice cast and experiencing a new adventure, just don’t expect anything amazing.

A fairly decent movie licensed game that's marred by its short length, boring combat and lack of replayability.

Falls flat. The fundamentals may be here, but the things that make the Assassin’s Creed series so good don’t get the necessary space here, or just feel half-done. If you were looking forward to Liberation as your next Assassin’s fix after the brilliant Black Flag, you’ll be thoroughly disappointed.

Darkspore has many neat ideas, but the bottom line is that the game lacks variety. You will end up going through previously completed levels in order to farm new gear for your heroes, and keeping up with the level requirements needed to progress through the game ends up being more work than it's worth.

A poor mans Gran Turismo lacking the depth, polish and graphics of the latter, but offering some fun if you are really keen to drive on two wheels.

Not the worst shooter around, but an enormous disappointment compared to its predecessors.

Neon-colored retro-entertainment that's perfect for short sessions. There's not much in terms of depth, though.

The many sidejobs and minigames lack both variety and challenges, but the excellent boss fights make up for the tedium. It's not perfect, but it does have a lot going on for it.

You have to figure out whether or not you find the Bleach universe interesting, because that interest needs to be there lest you grow tired of the simple combat system, the limited amount of backgrounds, the confusing story and the levels that quickly begins to repeat themselves.

There's no doubt that F.E.A.R. 3 should have been a better game, as it fails to live up to both its predecessors and much of what else is on offer in the genre these days. The overall experience is still worthy of approval, and there are some fun co-op modes. Whether you're into horror, action or a combination of the two you might want to take a look at F.E.A.R. 3. Just don´t expect a scary wonder-ride like the first installment.

It certainly has its moments, particularly for those well-versed in gaming history, but ends up sabotaged by an insane lack of variety.

A series of odd and unfathomable design choices means this is a game strictly for those, who live, eat and breathe UFC. Everyone else is better off waiting for the next iteration.

Having to manage your riders stamina and resources is an interesting twist on the racing genre, but you need much more than just a fleeting interest in cycling to enjoy this game.

Whether you're playing alone or with others, Wii Play Motion is nowhere near as fun as Wii Sports Resort, as the mini-games are too simple, too few and over too quickly. If you're looking for multiplayer entertainment, there are better and cheaper games to spend your money on.

Framerate issues and miniature texts bordering on the unreadable indicates that this is (sadly) just a quick and cheap port that’s a far cry from the majesty of the full-fledged versions of the game.

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes back, we get another Star Wars game. This time as a Tower Defense game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Fiddly controls and blurry graphics provides an experience not unlike Fieldsrunners. But that game came out two years ago and a lot has happened since. Not and awful game, but not a classic either.

Monkey Labour can be reviewed in one sentence: This is a sweet LCD-game from the 80' s that acts exactly as you remember these kind of games. It even has a virtual discoloured screen if you press your touch screen. This is hypernostagia for less than a buck. It isn´t gonna keep you up at night, but it will make you smile if you are one of gaming's old boys.

This is much better than the usual emulator crap that Sega throws at the iOS audience. It is still not at the top of iOS gaming due to touch controls that aren´t always as good as the competition. Lots of colours, good sense of speed and a fun albeit rather short game. Well worth a buy if it goes on sale.

If you're looking for an insane playground filled with guns and cars while on the go, Gangstar Rio: City of Saints may be an option. But it does feel like a missed oppurtunity due to awful voice and over, and that's a shame.

A game that seems more than satisfied with being entirely average in all respects. Does make for decent co-op fun, though.

If we were feeling incredibly generous, we might have given Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes a reserved recommendation based entirely on its uncompromising madness. As it is, however, there's not enough to pull this brawler out of its overshadowing tediousness.

Flawed in so many ways, this feels like a rushed product, and even though the voice acting is by most of the actors from the show, it feels as uninspired as the rest of the game.

A well-done graphical update that stays true to the classic platformer. Sadly, the original game isn't very good, and the update doesn't change that. Co-op is a nice addition, though.

I’ll make this quick – this package simply doesn’t have enough content. The three new levels on offer here fail to reach the level of the impressive DLC packs that were released for Gears of War 3.

This God of War-inspired adventure falls apart as soon as the camera begins swerving about in confusion.
