A freemium game that delivers a great arcade experience packed around a decent adventure. This is fighting as you remember it from classic 3D fighting games redone with the Unreal 3 engine. The freemium model isn’t intrusive after the first few weapons have been obtained (with in-game currency or real money) and the controls work like a charm. If you want a quick entertaining fighting fix for touch this is a good (and cheap) place to start.

Full Bore might appear as a modest project. It's not as embellished in indie cred and hype as Fez or Braid, and the basic idea is so laid-back and silly that it might invite to you to not take it seriously, but that is exactly the game's strength. There is no stress and no exaggerated expectations, and that's why you'll be gently pulled into its mysteries until you can't put it down. Full Bore is a wonderful puzzle platformer that you should not miss.

A great turn based strategy title that mixes Space Hulk with Fallout Tactics. Still a bit buggy at times, but a deep and different iOS title that mixes RPG elements with strategy and delivers a great interface og nice graphics. Its free to try with IAP of the full game, so no need to stay away. Test it yourself.

A very original and stylish team-based shooter. Once you figure out the Parkour-based SMART movement system it's a pleasure to use, and the gunplay is very satisfying. The singleplayer game is weak and boring, mostly due to miserable AI, but go online and Brink has plenty of fun to offer especially after the latest patch.

Bulletstorm is every action fan's wet dream. It has excellent playability, grand visuals and many hours of entertainment. The story is a bit average, and the violence and gore may be a little too much at times, but the game makes up for it with great gameplay, and the skillshot system will keep us coming back to perfect our scores.

It's impressive to see how thirteen years later, Radiant Silvergun is still among the finest shoot 'em ups ever made.

Once again, Hello Games takes the full-fledged console experience and brings it to mobile without compromising either controls or the level of challenge. Well worth getting.

If you enjoy games like Painkiller and Serious Sam, Hard Reset is a game to get, but if you're not into old school shooters, you should steer clear. It's very much a niche title, but if you belong to that niche, it hits all the right buttons.

Where LEGO City Undercover delivered a great solo experience in a sandbox and LEGO Marvel Superheroes delivered lots of characters, The LEGO Movie Videogame seems happy enough with providing the usual two player co-op that TT Games does so well. This time they do it with a lot of focus on the well-known building blocks and some twists on the movie. As a fan of LEGO assembling, the movie or TT Games in general, this is a must-have.

If you loved the crash mode in Burnout 3: Takedown, enjoy pinball machines (but pine for more control) or you're just a high score junkie, have no doubt: Burnout Crash is one to get.

Tomb Raider Trilogy is a wonderful trip down memory lane. The graphics have been touched up nicely, and the sheer amount of content means you'll get plenty of value out of this package.

Not the most original game ever, and probably no replacement for Diablo III. Nevertheless, Dungeon Hunter Alliance is a solid dungeon crawler that absolutely shines in co-op (even on same screen). And you just can't beat the price. Well worth getting, but make sure you bring some friends over.

In many ways, Off the Record is a better game than the original Dead Rising 2 with a better save function and a parallel universe setting of sorts. But it's also the SAME game, and if you've already played the original, there's little point in getting this. Only Dead Rising newcomers or absolute die-hards need apply.

A funny sort of cat-and-mouse first person shooter with an original premise and style. An absolute bargain at the price, and a game that gives more expensive XBLA titles a run for their money. There's plenty of fun to be had, and Bloody Good Time certainly live up to its name.

It doesn't quite live up to the digital bliss of its spiritual predecessor Rez, but Child of Eden is still a marvelous experience and a nice addition to your Kinect-library.

Small perfect levels, breezy controls and colors that just pop off the screen. Make no mistake, though, Rayman is in no way just a quick snack. The later levels are ruthlessly hard, but when you finally nail them, you will have no doubt that this is the way a mobile platformer should be done.

Call of Duty meets Mario Kart in this blazing racer. Get it for the deep online experience and the highly chaotic battles that come with it.

The main character has the charisma of a wet piece of cardboard, but other than that, Watch Dogs is solid and a great foundation for Ubisoft to build on in the future. Having spent many hours in virtual Chicago as Aiden Pearce, we’re only hungry for more.

This game is fantastic. It's also very divissive. Some people will love the dry humor and bizarre enviroments, while others will will feel it's a boring mess of boss fights and too much talking. Personally though, this is a gaming milestone. Go get it.

EA Canada has made a solid game with an improved physics system that will serve well as a foundation in the coming years. If we don't get a proper NHL season on TV this year, NHL 13 is a competent substitute.

A short but wonderful platformer that’s well worth playing.

While it certainly has flaws, we’ll still wholeheartedly recommend Valiant Hearts to anyone, as it offers a beautiful and respectful tale of one of the most gruesome periods in modern history.

A charming little puzzle game with a novel concept and plenty of challenges. The cute look and feel might be a bit too much for some, and the difficulty is a little uneven, but the game is still well worth a look, especially for its two-player mode.

The simple recipe of great level design, great controls and great gameplay still holds up better than most things, and we can only hope that Activision realizes that.

It's not at all necessary to play with others in order to have fun with Gatling Gears, but you should do everything you can to bring a friend in on the fun, because if there's anything better than one crazy warmachine, it's two crazy warmachines. If your life is missing some boom, Gatling Gears is just what the doctor ordered. It looks fantastic and will put a smile on your lips. Solid dual stick shooter with eyebleeding detailed graphics.
